Dire tigers, bears, and...more tigers. (oh my)

So silly title aside,
The suggestion is to let level 10 rangers and druids tame dire tigers, dire bears, and white tigers.
These are the pinnacle of animals without being stupidly strong like ancient dire bears or earth drakes.
Currently all three of those are "too powerful" for a level ten pc to tame, despite being common spawns on some medium difficulty quests. (Except dire tigers, they're super rare it seems)
It'd be cool for the two classes known to be good with animals to be able to tame and calm these, especially since the DC to AE them is already high where you have to pump it a lot before being able to AE them successfully.
Just a neat thought.

@foley
I suggest that charisma is added to the level of beast you can tame instead. +1 from charisma (no items or spells), equals +1 level of beast.It allows for options such as beastmaster, and can be useful if you invest heavily.
-
It would be neat to see charisma factor in, as well as Skill Focus.
Druids already have a clear loot distinction between shifters and casters. It would be cool to see the ability for one to become a beastmaster with unusual builds. -
We used to have charisma buffs and such like, it got way out of control so I think it got nixed.

This. You would have level 10 rangers with level 14 super buffed animal companions.
Charisma still affects the stats of your companion, it seems like a fine balance.
-
"It's not balanced" is not the same as "It can't be balanced". As it stands, SF:AE seems to be a wasted feat, as with so many Skill focus feats.
-
SF feats are very much flavour and useful when cross classing.
might be nice to see the sf ae allow magical beast taming or something though

+1, provided this is for flavour and not just OP powerbuilding.
Dire tigers, etc? Maybe there could be a Ranger archetype to allow a "beastmaster" type, but they'd probably need sacrifices in terms of feats, as @Cadiz suggests.
Animal companion system in Arabel is probably best I have seen in any game, so would be good to add more animals/beasts that can be tamed.
-
@joekickass
You're not allowed to tame beasts. -
@foley I think cadiz was suggesting if rangers make a little sacrifice somewhere, in terms of feats, they might be allowed to tame some beasts or more potent animals, and I was agreeing saying more animals would be nice even if they are not more powerful
-
Perhaps Skill Focus could expand the tameable animals to include some vermin or magical beasts.
-
Could you add a second animal companion for a Ranger ?
Rather, is this feasible without piling on the coding work?
-
5 new animals have been added for druids/rangers, they also have prestige items for those willing to hunt them down
