Old and Gone Plot Information
-
That said, I was more referencing the last ten years of INGAME history we missed with the 'leap forward'. Not past events in the module, that's likely for a separate thread!
In light of this I would like to start a thread about it exactly.
This is of course only for plots that are dead and gone and are not returning. That said..
What ever happened to the big bad Werewolf in the Hullack that could only be damaged with some Elven sword?
-
What happened with the swaggering Adventurer's Guild?
Also, what happened with the spooky Pilgrims in Easthaven?
Also, what happened with the ebol Zhentarim on the outskirts?
Also, what happened, at any point in time, with the Rift and Lyss?
What happened with the unstoppable Githyanki?
-
What happened with the swaggering Adventurer's Guild? – As a faction, it got purchased by a powerful and wealthy NPC who they had crossed, and he shut them down.
Also, what happened with the spooky Pilgrims in Easthaven? -- They fled after Clar Banda was resurrected, since they had been the DM Faction that was attempting to stop her.
Also, what happened with the ebol Zhentarim on the outskirts? -- Which one? Their have been several.
Also, what happened, at any point in time, with the Rift and Lyss? -- viewtopic.php?t=139210&hilit=Tymora
What happened with the unstoppable Githyanki? -- The DM who tried to run this huge plot all by himself, wandered off. No one else had time to run a huge githyanki invasion. Githyanki went home. Sadly, that was it there.

Someone got the sword, and killed him. Not sure who or when though.

Probably its my lack of ingame information, but wanted to know what happened to the Devil Dragon Nelvothyr or something…that used to command the grodd goblins and then there was a staff that was used to command the dragon...what happened to her curse or remains of the devil dragon :)

Actually thats not accurate. The sword was obtained but the plot was put on halt until Ponies was meant to return, which never occurred. The plot was left hanging and forgotten. If Darkthore died it wasnt by PC hand.

What were the Marliir (?), apart from a noble house, and did they have a higher purpose?
What was the deal with Blind Varlets?
Who had imprisoned Elshad Vhoor, when, and why, before they were released (Back before He became a "noble house")? (I think I should know this, but I can't remeber)
As a side note, the plot event thingie that was running at the time, where different PC and DM factions used their resources to excavate different places in search for McGuffin (but often uncovered other, curious things) was awesome thing, and I'd gladly see more like that! What became of Zxhoo and Pyre, the two dragons that mated? I know where their eggs were being taken care for, but what happened to the dragons? After one of them scorched the Red Glade?
-
Marliir was haunted by the dead, their entire house was an amazing idea really. They were designed to lay to rest the spirits of the dead, the civil war, but for some reason players just never 'got' the house at all. It was likely just way too subtle.
Blind Varlets, no idea. I wasn't around for them.
Elshad Vhoor's story is still going! No spoilers there.
Zxhoo was killed eventually by the Mayor of Kilgrave, who used much of his loot to rebuild the town. Pyre is off somewhere in the world. Zxhoo's eggs, now that's probably a future story! Zxhoo torched the Red Glade.

What eventually happened to the real Lord Bhaliir, last i had seen of him he was in secret custody(as a babbling idiot aka: Lord Deshurr) of the war wizards, prior to the war wizards leaving when the war concluded not in their favor.
What was and became of the pretender that took his place? I had seen he had relocated the house to the underdark just prior to the explosion, and had heard that the new estate had fallen into a state where it was ignored, with rumors that the beholders were eating the duregar guards, what was he? and what did happen? Ironically I found out both of these in game about a half a hour after I posted this, the replacement was the Tyrant beholder dealt with in a recent event, answer no longer really needed, unless someone wishes to put the history here, without potential spoilers
-
The real Lord Bhaliir died eventually of natural causes in the care of priests of Selune who tended for him in his final days of madness.

Who was the true power behind the Red Harts' massive attack on Arabel during the Hart-Maleen War (and consequently the destruction of the Slums)?

I might be able to field that one, but I don't think it's my right to do so. Rather curious to hear, myself!

i love this thread.

I wasn't around for this bit, so someone else would have to answer it or I'd have to dig through the old plot threads.

It was a few rogue nobles and ex-war wizards, who thought it was high time that Arabel and Eveningstar stop with the delusions of grandeur and return to the Cormyrean fold. Eventually, though they were executed by the Obarskyrs, they did get what they want due to the PCs involved. They drove the Marshall half mad with the visions they kept sending him and the rest of the high command, forcing them to think they had no choice but to deal with the rift themselves, that Maleen was a corrupt power seeker.
The involved PCs already knew this, though (in fact, they made the vision thing happen IC). Guess they didn't share.
-
So PCs were actually behind making some very goodly pcs go ape shit on the Maleen Tower? I want names! :( Or at least a further elaboration :)
-
Hah! Even I didn't know this! I was told that Princess Alusair Obarskyr dispatched several legions to aid the Red Harts, on the condition that Arabel return to the fold after the battle, not caring what delusions High Marshall Algorn had.
-
Why did the Shadovar slaughter the remaining Red Harts?

Yes, well, the guilty parties would hardly go around claiming that they are conducting illicit troop deployments behid the Steel Regent's back. This is even written in the library book (albeit vaguely, as the real events are lost since they were never recorded by any PC). The armies of the Hart were swelled by paid companies and other Knightly Orders, who tragically took Algarn at his word. I don't remember the PCs who negotiated with the other Orders for backup. One was an aasimar.
It was two years ago, too long to go digging deep into myraid archived forums to get the full story now. I'll answer what I remember off the top of my head, though. Those were some fun times.
-
There is of course, nothing stopping the players who remember what exactly they did from chiming in. I'll admit to not having a clear recollection of every last detail.
