i was under the impression vhoor had a stronghold in the underdark, but later they owned the bloodied axe inn, or at least were renting a large portion of it... right?

RE: Letter to Fang
nothing to report from my last several sojourns in to the Hullack, not even Orcs when i looked, only animals and they were easy to avoid, no sign of the werefox, if they are there they are avoiding me currently i would not know any difference.
on the city, went with the hunter girl to talk to some lord in the paladin area, they took us in, had a long talk, i got roughed up and tossed into a room till the talking was done then they threw me out and told me to leave, not sure what was going on, something to do with missing children. the lord was not interested in me or anything i had to say. after a short while i decided to keep quiet.
Letter to Fang
I hope this letter finds you well, the reason for my letter is that in my recent explorations of the hullack have yielded results of which i seek
i have had a second and a third encounter with a werefox, the first was not as good as i had hoped, she mentioned they remembered me being part of that party(the first encounter) that had attacked one of her kin, i was not that convincing in my arguments to assure her/them that i was a non combatant. she said i need to gain their trust and she bolted
the most recent encounter came in the hullack a day or so ago, they are still wary of me, and it will take a very long time for me to gain their trust, but she did mention they are not pleased with the orcs in the hullack area, they also mentioned the orcs are dealing with a slave trade, mostly in taking elves (that they do not massacre) and selling them to humans who wear red garments and coverings (could this missing elven noble be victim of this trade?)
i will keep exploring the hullack in hopes of finding more information, but i have to relate that i have been chased out of the area by marauding orcs on three occasions and a fourth time i frantically was forced to flee at great haste from a ever determined Drake, it chased me for many many miles
RE: More inns in arabel
just to clarify, i am not really talking about new pc's
i am excited to say NEW players! they will eventually get into the groove so to speak and may eventually become some of the big baddies, but until they learn their way around we need to help them find their way into the community, be they the next good or evil person
on the argument against more inns, having a single place for people to meet is a strong argument, finding people is paramount for new players, and a single inn really helps this a lot (my opinion has been altered by this reason alone, thank you for pointing this out)
and i do apologize in advance should i send anyone a tell in game when i see names i do not recognize, i am looking to see if the person is indeed new and would like to be shown around, which i try to do in game of course to make it immersive, keeping server advice to the green tells, if they are an established player sorry
i have found one new person last week and have made note of the player and character name should i see them again
what i do not want is someone who has a in game dislike to my characters race or what ever to maybe ignore me if they see me wandering with a character that they do not recognize, hard to help someone when i am running away
RE: More inns in arabel
overwhelmed in that a character of a certain race walking out of the WSI at the wrong time might run into a very intimidating scene, for a established player this is easily not a problem. we know what to expect, but a new player running into it might react one of two ways, roll with it (which is cool) or leave.
it is all how it is handled, and even though i know what is happening and is at stake, my main character is intimidated...by almost everyone in arabel right now
i do not know my way around the stormhorns, can you come back after you leave the WSI? or do you have to find your way back from there? exploring is a bit more challenging as it once was (which is good, the sense of danger feels real, and the thrill is good)
but at times when there are few people on, and the only ones on are the one who would see your character some harm is not really a good combination
it has been my experience and great pleasure that many of the evil characters are controlled by nice people, so i usually get some nice RP when no one else is on and they are the only people i can RP with(but do not get me wrong...my character always has one eye on the escape route and my heart is skipping double time)
RE: More inns in arabel
portals stones as far as i know are only in the SE, and the portal words though known to some are rather difficult to obtain. and the stones cost 25 coins each, not a problem for people who are decent at earning coin in game. these are all not problems to me right now, but i can see how a new player might end up feeling overwhelmed (and we are getting new players, i had the pleasure of showing one around the city last evening and showed them some of the ropes)
RE: Ceilm Ceil
some kind of a war going on now, will try my best to not be effected by it.
the dark skinned bossy elf is dead now, but not before he went on a murder rampage of sorts, using the law to justify some of it. he was useful to have in a fight, but he was becoming more violent and less able for others to influence his actions
been talking to several individuals who either promise what i want, or are vague, instead asking me to follow them to this secluded area, that is not suspicious at all.
been helping on a few expeditions, why do they insist on dragging me to places where there are spiders, sure spiders are of nature, but they are only good for two things, squishing by others or running away from by me
still have not seen another werefox since that one i ran into with that group that was dealing with a werewolf.wererat issue. long time ago now. need to see about getting the bronze axe dwarf becoming a werebear, he seemed slightly interested, or was being polite to me
my evaluations of the forms tested thus far in my time here
Bear=strong, but i take a terrible pounding when hostile creatures or individuals are around, good for carrying stuff though
panther=quick, still get beat up in this form, but is rather easy to spot hidden doors when in this form
wolf=able to track creatures in areas i am in, the most durable of forms i have taken thus far in combat situations (could be a combination of protection spells as well, further testing will need to be done)
no other forms tried or found so far, ran into a druid who turned into a dire tiger or cat of some kind, major disadvantage in animal form=unable to communicate with others in form, and when rangers or druids are around only able to communicate in simple terms, direction, danger and the like
