Sarevok is from BG2, a bhaalspawn. The events of BG are canon in FR, and goldchildren tend to be rather famous.

To expand on this a bit, app subraces don't really need a lot of discussion; Since they are controlled by default, they can just be added, no issues. You can ask / apply for them, and if a scripter is in the mood (and the app is good) it can just be created then and there, even (Cansin is one such example).

Appless is what would need considerations, as there wouldn't be any controls, hence this thread.

As per 5e rules, Dragonborn could become an appless subrace if we balance it right.

Maybe +2 STR, -2 DEX.

Breath weapon and resistance, but vulnerability to the opposite element. Could also get rid of the vulnerability, but force use of the dragon head (the neckless issue and bad looking models are no longer a problem with the half-elf base model)

Rock gnomes are default gnomes.

They had favored class wizard in 3e, and bard in 3.5e. Not a different subrace.

By team consensus:-

• Dispel 10 wands are no longer craftable. Only dispel 5 can be crafted. Dispel 10 potions exist, however.
• Dispel bloodstones are now dispel 5
• Attune gem system is no longer available.

I mean, in any case, I've yet to see a DM refuse the language when a PC asked for it (and it makes sense for the subrace).

Definitely don't need a scripted system for this when a DM has to set you up anyway, though we could make one. It's just not really needed.

The common races get it because DMFI gave it to them, we didn't have to code that in manually.

It probably isn't an auto spawn on creation; But the subrace posts can be updated.

I don't think this needs a script, since you need a DM to get setup anyway, you can ask them for it then. But some subraces definitely do receive bonus languages, though not all. Also not we do not support a few languages like Elemental, which are not a part of the DMFI system.

I remember StrawMan making a post to create new languages though, so players can make the missing ones if something isn't on the list he posted.

We know. ;) We just don't do it for the reasons stated above.
