Who are we?
-
In v4..
Anaday Colt - Simple cleric of Cyric, didn't do much.
Sigurd - Awesome barbarian, probably the best character ever.
Deguu Kurmg - The first creepy Eclestian.
Alibastyr - Albino-like tiefling. Slave of Bhaliir, sold out anyone and everyone.
Kellyndra "Dove Red" Aiyes aka: "Dirge" - A song loving Cyricist cult leader. Burnt the shrine of Lathander, killed by Super Elf in the war.
Aarussendtyl Anskyr'yl - Quarter-elven wizard loyal to Cormyr. Very wizardly sort of guy. Was a somewhat early Black Dragon. Prototype for Anaveir.
Ghaerun Kurmg - Deguu's long lost brother. True adventurer, old timer. Tons of fun.
Ibmi Oubaal - Dwarven embodiment of greed. From creation, hit level 8 within 24 hours. Retired 10 days later. Just for fun.
Davin Caern - Noble, Cormyrean loyalist, druid, nihilist, Custodian of Candlekeep
Isaac "Rabbit" Rabrent - Simple guard turned Sheriff turned city councilor turned revolutionary. On accident, succeeded in destroying the city council, lead the movement to recover Vangershlaz and return Myrmeen Lhal to power. Gifted the Cornucopia to the Lady's House, semi-responsible for the gank squad the destroyed House Vhoor. Became a knight of Tymora, founding member of Arabel's Court. Retired at the top of his game, out adventuring elsewhere in Faerun now.
Khalazad Stonescaled - Half-dwarf and half-red dragon. I liked the concept, but such overly unique characters aren't for me. Became boring when the novelty wore off, and I was unable to show my face anywhere.
Anaveir Silvwermyr - Wizard, merchant, adventurer. Things picked up fast but slowed down for some reason or other. Retired due to an extended absence.
Lord Bryce Caern - Unworthy heir of the Caern family of Cormyr. Envoy of the Steel Regent in Arabel. Cousin of Davin Caern. Had him since August, but lack of time has kept him from playing. -
Alora Freeman - She was an aisimar cleric of Selune. First character I ever played and by far the one with the most interesting story. Right away I was sucked into what to me seemed like a major plot in the Shadovar war. Major achievement was opening the gates of the moon, thereby releasing some "exiles" from the Netherese enclave Opus.
Can't even remember which character(s) I had that interacted with Alora, but she was one of my favs on the server during her tenure. Good work!
-
Johnny Stones: An honorable professional with a hatred for religion- used to be a squire before he was tortured nearly to death by dueregar. His hatred consumed him and when he at last returned to his paladin masters he was scorned and turned away. He embraced the honor of the paladinhood but pursued less savory goals, such as bloodstone trade, spying, and failed assassination attempts. Wouldn't have gotten far at all if he hadn't run into Malverick Anatara, who showed him the ropes to the city, (and got me hooked to CoA.) Died trying to kill some Bhaliiran retainer who was awesome but I can't remember the name of. :/ Level 7 Rogue.
Thomas J. Fewlery III: An insane court jester who owned a sword that constantly buzzed bizzarely- he called this blade "Jest" and claimed that it spoke to him. He enjoyed art projects, and was known to do fingerpaints with blood. He was widely considered an idiot however, and even the Bhaliiran retainers he worked with kind of hated him. He actually was a handsome young man who was enchanted by the blade his parents kept on their mantlepiece. Upset that his lazy older brother would someday be given the blade as an inheritance, he fancied that the blade called to him and forced him to kill his entire family. Afterwards it told him he should seek out King Bhaliir and offer his allegience. A total whackjob. Decent concept, sadly few had an easy time taking him seriously, and I lost interest after he died to a troll and then a cliffside in the underdark. Bard/Fighter.
Charlie Sinn, AKA: Silver: A charismatic maskite thief. He believed in unifying the slums to a common cause after his family was killed in turmoil caused by the sherrifs trying to take over the slums at one point. He may have done a decent job of it were it not for a certain pink pimp bastard who stole his thunder. :P He ended up attacking Magenta in his secret lair but was killed suddenly by something that looked suspiciously like the rift monsters that are popping up lately. He led the Blackblood Hood Gang, which was pretty prestigious and had a whopping three members. (including him.) 3 Rogue/2 Sorceror.
Richard LeBluff, AKA: The Corsair: A water gensai who was a priest of Valkur. He was a pirate until he washed up near the docks of Immersea. He then decided that since he had already conquered the sea, he may as well try to master the elements of a landlocked city. He went to Arabel and there explored the possibility of becoming a gensai of all elements: in his mind becoming a masterpiece to his deity- something that could survive even the harshest of elements. His goals aligned him with Novo of the Adventurers guild. His ego was multiplied ten fold as he assisted in the slaying of a white dragon and even making the venture to Mechanus along with the other gatecrashers. He was also a poison salesman, and was even a founding member of the Southeast Council. He was betrayed by the magnificent bastard Tomas du Prei. (I had no idea that was Caek until five minutes ago, I'm tickled pink,) and became exiled from the city after being framed for murder and chased by corrupt lawmen. Fortunately he had friends in high places, (Novo) who got him off the hook. He eventually gave up on his dream, and decided after discovering in Mechanus that the lawful denizens had enslaved the elemental planes, that he would find a way to the plane of water and try to free his "brothers" there. It is well known that the druids were going to let him go with them to this plane and request that he stay there, but few know what became of this. Cleric/Rogue
Timothy Undarweld: A Banite who believed order was required to maintain the life of innocents. He was an evil agent of the Zhentarim who believed what he did was the right thing to do. He was known to accept contracts under the alias, "Winetaster." His greatest accomplishment was capturing an intellect devourer for his Zhentarim masters. However, I had a hard time playing him and eventually gave up. Fighter/Rogue
Freddie Jorino: I'm playing him now so find out IG newblets.

Alrighty, lets see here. . .
Kali Strongarm (fighter halfling) She was the most headbutting, dwarf out drinker, honor bound fighting little person I could create. Known for being the midget with a katana and could have been -huge- with the Legion just as the plot was getting started. She was good friends with Mal and Lizardclaw and could have reached a high rank with them but real life kept me down at just the wrong time.
Rell (Human druid) Rell was a wolf at heart. Most commonly known for my outlandish detail into my animal companion Kell. The two were tighter than two pigs in slop. Had a lot of druid action done. . got to carry a staff of power around for awhile. . I don't even remember why I stopped playing him. RL must have done something.
Ryan (Human fighter/rogue) The fancy Cyricist who threw around a two bladed sword and was known to be a little excitable. Followed the best pink pimp around and did most of the nasty. . nasty killing. He killed off the Sharrans at the time who were using the Purple Raven's name. (yeah, I didn't -kill- the woman but I wounded her to near death and a guard finished her when she bragged on a sending.) Haw! I remember now. She almost bit his tongue off or they would have been partners. But Ryan only regreted not getting the reward money. Worked both sides of the playing field with the Militia until being betrayed by said Militia. . now he rots in a jail cell still.
Thats my long running three. Several months each and they were just loads of fun to play. I'm thinking the concept for Kali was great and none of the potential was tapped. I might revive her and start again.

Wow.
Just, Wow.I troll, infrequently, but this is an awesome memory pinger. I had a handful of characters, but only two that anybody might remember.
Phinley Lannesen - Big, thick, and not all that bright. Super laid back and optimistic for being a former farm hand slave to Druegars. Fell head over heels for a whackjob of Cleric of Larue who was even more up that he was. Veteran Member of the Gleaming Blades, prodigal disciple of Duncan Nottias. When his unrequited love died, and he could do nothing about it, he sank to a dark place, and drifted in and out of plots and the City. Highest level: 8th. Oh, He and Duncan would have TOTALLY pwned that Dragon, btw.
Watcher Angela Taylnaran - Red headed, feisty, head strong, Half-Elven, Battle-Priest of Helm. Original concept was thought up for backstory character for no2ace's Enlo Arna. She was the daughter of a High Priest of the Helmite church in Marsember. When he died, she left for Arabel to find Enlo, and tell him of her father's passing, as Enlo was an unlikely but good friend of the family. Once in the City, she curled up under the wing of Watcher Jaron Wenden, who was the "head honcho" of the Helmite faction. When he got killed by a mega beholder in that whole "South vs. North" war, she was the heiress to the faction. Some of the best RP I'd gotten involved in was with this character, and her "Den Mother" issues with her fold, like Kwalu, Brom, and Vera, to name a few. She got "called back" to Marsember to "answer for her actions" in the civil war. Highest level: 6th or 7th, I don't remember.I miss playing here, for the RP friends that I made but don't miss a lot of the drama and plotting. REALLY Miss "Jack-o-Nines!" He and Phin had some awesome adventures!
-
Ezri Teegan - Young, naive wizard who became the first wizard in the Arabe Militia. She thought she could clean up the town, but ended up becoming a pawn in the political plays of many nefarious characters instead. She pursued a gang of criminals to a lonely corner of the central district where she was murdered.
Amaris Despana - A Malarite werewolf who was lonely until she hooked up with a nasty half-red dragon. He recruited her into his faction where they all committed all manner of crimes (including the murder of a priestess of Lurue). They were finally hired by House Bhaliir retainer Gregor to make a jail break. Amaris was caught and executed in the jails thereafter.
Kalashti Orbana - Fire genasi, a headstrong, gruff priestess of Kossuth. She preached fire and judgment, and often joined the Eclestian Order in their crusades. She was a chosen of the Order and well respected (even worshiped) by Damien Locke. But due to the different time zones of the EO, she grew bored and while exploring a cave, she died and ragequitted…
Malexia Vendu - One of the first Custodians of Candlekeep. As a necromancer, she plotted and schemed against the Mage Guild (one of her goals was to spy on them). She raised the dead, sought dark artifacts and survived two assassination plots as well as aiding in the bloodstone trade. She was finally caught by the EO and burned on the pyre. My fav CoA character ever.
Tessa Allenby - Red Hart paladin and lycan hunter. An ambitious and goodly warrior of Nobanion who detested goblins and lycans. She started the crusade against the Grodd and aided the Theur Erevae against the demon lycans of the Hullack. However, she was called away back Suzail to aid her family in a civil dispute and hasn't returned.
Ceriwyn Fasamar - Cleric of Oghma and Clocksmith of the CoG. She was another naive, silly cleric who's search for knowledge involved her with many people, good and bad. She aided in destroying Mother Lyss and was also the first human in the CoG. She retired back to Suzail, the soot and smoke of the factory having made her sick one too many times.
Emrys Talongrove - A fey-touched druid of Silvanus with a head strong ambition to become High Druid. She made friends easily, and was a strict neutralist until she became involved in a civil war with her fellow druids. In the end, she fell from grace when she fell in love with Sheriff Crey the werebat and recruited him to kill a fellow druid. In the end, she was killed in a druidic duel. However, her corpse was raised in the glory of Ghanaudaur and she became a Blighter. She schemed and plotted with the Slime Cult until she met her end at the Battle of Crag.
Talya Simay - A werepanther of Morvys who failed in life and ended up becoming a demon worshiping fiend and dying to road bandits. The end.
Sihvet - A druid of the Vast Swamps. Current char.
-
Someone on a day should tell me why people keep changing login names.
-
Since Nepris did some forum necromancy, I may as well keep it alive.
Vakal Black - Brutal human fighter pledged to the service of Bane, and left hand man to Raemos Dagmoth.
Vittorio Pyrritheus - Absurd, drunken half-elf warrior who wore gold and purple armor. Wielded a massive golden axe named Sourfang, forged just for him in exchange for the death of a hundred goblins. I stopped counting after a thousand.
Nihilo - Sadistic Sharran swordsman hellbent on "consuming all life." Cannibal, field medic, and a great cook.
Volonte - Malarite that was probably too mild-mannered for his own good. He was the last member to join the Red Moon before it faded into obscurity. Had a bad habit of charging into situations that were beyond him.
Sir Morden Haar - Knight of the Forsaken Legion, and current character. Obsessed with obtaining perfect order, perhaps to a fanatical extent.
-
Thrar Amakirr - Elven bladesinger who was a member of the Theur Everae and the Adventurers Guild. Also played a critical role in the cormyrian resistance and the downfall of Gromfia.
Robbes Mallarme - Mage Guild Councillor, and apprentice to Kanthea Ferelven. Probobly my most enjoyable character. Mix of Kanthea, the Planes, and MG hijinx made him a blast to play.
Eriq Belleyne - Started off as a Harper Agent in the Purple Dragons. Deserted when he learned a horrible war wizard secret and sparked a brief war between Cormyr and Arabel after Lhal granted Eriq sanctuary. Retired him shortly after becoming senior harper of Arabel. -
Shadar Logoth. First attempt at an helmite. The Brotherhood was really cool. And Verk was in it. Eventually decided to prove her faith by battling the cleric of another goddess. He showed her being the Chosen of Tymora does come with its perks.
Vladimir Oronesca. So much drama. End emo. But still my favourite character so far. Mainly because of another character I roleplayed with. Ended up blowing the EO with other two random guys. Too bad.
Neeskh von Drakmlech, the Marquis of Nowhere. He didn't even know what he was Marquis of. Nor did others. Ended up freeing an innocent fae princess that an evil wizard had trapped in a crystal. But she didn't reward him with a kiss, so he committed suicide. Never play with a noble man's heart.
Lorenzo de Micheli. Did someone say drama? Emo? Greatly misunderstood guy. People drink bloody mary and yet nobody tries to burn them. Unfair.
Mourgran Morieth. Alistair's minion. Nuff said.
Greatest character ever.
Alistair, I mean.Alphonse Castiel. Kind wizard of the Mage's Guild. Loved walking around naked. He was the pet of a demon golem who forced him to go beat down a paladin. Or maybe it was the other way round. Fact is, my characters are always misunderstood.
Caden's minion too.
Greatest character ever.
Caden, I mean.Jack Cobble. Goblin in the slime cult. But he had the appearance of an halfling. Damn deceiving.
Jean Jacques Moreau. Obnoxious, arrogant knight. But he had his moments.
Verk refused to roll a Red Hart I could be minion of.
I stopped playing. -
V3
Ymir Kelmyst My first character. Obsessed with the Beholder Crown. Begged to join quests. Faded into obscurity in the slums in 1377. (Barbarian 4) Elf.
Aakhan Graonzhan Stole a golden greatsword from a battlefield, nearly killed trying to get some Wind Lord Garments, kamikazed some fey. (Barbarian 4/ Wizard 1).
Ryft Akraphnel Weakling fighter in shit chainmail. Got slain in the old deep sewers by a beetle. (Fighter 4)
Vrugor 'Vru' Hexzcor Vrugor, certainly a favourite. Good at getting elven babes. Good at being stupid. Loved the phoenix Legion but failed to be bothered with paperwork. Went insane at Delulith, Verk's Elf in the really awful green plate, and broke his leg after he was petrified. Accidentally killed some slummers on his way out. Turned himself in, because he was that retarded, and was the first character to be executed by the Sheriffs. He still haunts the Fugue. Had some nice glowy stuff. (Fighter 4/ Barb 3)
Rahvan 'Grim' Kahgrimakt Deadly warrior and freelance merc, ended up dying an obscure and meaningless death with some hawt loot afer joining Scarlet Talons. Generally the servant and bodyguard of some lovely foreign lady. Exiled plenty. Chased out of town by druids after murdering three with the Talons. (Fighter 7).
William 'Will' Tomasson
One of Rexahr's pals, fell out with him at that arena fiasco, died in an orcan rampage. Not much to say. (Fighter 5)Ghargan 'Garagosian' Darkmaul
A half-orc who hated speaking, liked Garagos, and hated losing. Slain by Bresk's after an awesome run with the Garagosian crew. [Fighter 8]Qyrgen 'Haze' Xhazenaer
A bizzare gentleman who was a hardcore merc turned Claw of the Black Scale, one of the Ithybilior elite. Executed by Sheriffs for being a general pain in the arse and coward. [Fighter 8]Henry 'Harry' Swift Only good aligned character ever. Died at the Battle of Eveningstar to Ithylibhor's Forces. (Fighter 2 / Ranger 1)
John 'Giggles' Tatlyn
A f***ing weird stalker hin that became a Lyssan with Candlekeep. Did very little at all, just laughed and lived in a vase. Died in the ruins to a hook horror. (Rogue 3 / Fighter 1) -
Calton : v1. fighter. smacked stuff.
V2
Rav (not to be confused with that elf)) : sorcerer, imported pnp charatcer, fell into fr after a losing battle with vecna (as v2 backgrounds went, this was semi-tame)
Vrool Half-orc, cleric, dumb as a post. served that god who defends stuff, wannabe guard (even eventually a frequent deputy)
Trey Aerthel : tiefling bard-swordsman. illegitimate child of a waterdhavien noble-mage.
V3
Wanderer : Quite possibly coa's only harper scout. Briefly a co-high druid despite not being one. Known for blowing things up commando style. University teacher, and co-founder of gold gryphons. Killed by Manithel in the early Shadovar plot.
Talon Caius : UCoA guard-capatian. In more accurate terms, extortion thug and banite infiltrator.
Morn Darkwood : Deschurran. Dragon hunter, brawler, adventurer. Running feudee with Bradley Larks when they weren't assailing banite temples on the same side for once. Became an NPC, did some stuff I don't entirely know about. Became un-NPCed and leads green dragons off around somewhere.
Aaron Chance : Tymoras champion, led commoners in burning down the thayan embassy on behalf of Lord Darmos. Sought to lead a crusade to cleanse wyvernwater, but that never panned out in terms of getting a Dm.
Thond half-elf i forget even the name of.
Daeric Aers : EO stealth agent. Being in a faction without any faction benefits ftw.
V4
Vanin Thierdyn : Scholar. Blue coat. Killed in a semi-infamous incident that triggered the expulsion of House Vhoor.
Chaste Fardrift : Treasure hunter of the Goldfeather scrolls. Retired after buying his mom a house with his 20k.
and my present character -
V4:
Robert Watts a.k.a. William l'Jourdemayne
First character after re-inventing myself. Total success. Has children and an estranged wife. Professional Marksman in Heavy Armour. Murdered Smeedly and Herbert in an act of pure devotion to Tyche and Arabel. Executed for it. Re-embodied by Lyss as William l'Jourdemayne and died at the Battle of Easthaven. (Level 9)Godfrey Foxe
Second character, effectively. He was an ex-slave from the Underdark. Had no memory of the past five years, and speculation led to the belief he was formerly an Illithid thrall. Suffered extreme clinical depression due to the loss of his family, job and any direction in life, despite his ability with a crossbow and skills in attaining reasonable sums of money, and ended up shooting himself through the chest with his crossbow while in the clutches of his best friend. (Level 5)Bartholomew Greyshaft, Esq.
Third and alternate character. Though he was created prior to Godfrey, but I put him on leave for a month to try another concept as he became a little stale. He is the loyal squire of Sir Terryn Hark and vicious axeman. He's in his late forties or early fifties, which is of course unusual for a squire. He often hurts himself while laughing or bending down. He worships Tempus primarily and praises Kelemvor in honour of the Eternal Order which he serves. He has numerous speech impediments due to facial injuries. (Level 7*)Simon Newgate
Fourth and alternate character. An acid tripping seventy year old 'Ilmateri' who dresses in malleable gold robes, and seems to be the total counter to all things 'Ilmater'. (Level 4*)Walter de St. Rumbold
Older than all of the above mentioned characters. But, yeah, he made a comeback. He was originally designed for being a 'bouncer' at The Boathouse. That eventually sorta went stale and I played him as a questing alt on and off over about four/five months. Now he works with the Doom Scribe, and is known as 'Waldo the Scythe'. (Level 7*)*subject to change
-
Emmy Gallows, my first CoA character. Chubby, insecure, self-conscious farm girl turned paladin of Sune. Remade her recently.
Kührg, half-orc Tempite. Barbarian turned disciplined fighter… a fierce warrior and fierce friend.
Cree Winters, my first attempts at a ranger. Tried to join the militia, but also had tempting offers from the criminal underground. She died on the road.
Gorga Sunnyskin halfling rogue. Often maligned as a thief, but never even took the pickpocket skill. Retired.
Lucian Malachai standard issue Velsharoonite cleric. tried to assassinate militia Private Neil Bryant. (My first and only character to be executed)
Grummund Anvilsong, perpetually pissed off dwarf. Also recently remade.
Lenny Mortimer, based on Lenny the brute from "of mice and men".
Hildi Molshurgh half orc monk of Loviatar. used to hang around and beat on a halfling named Emo.
Hardy Axeman fighter/cleric of Chauntea. "Tis my name an' whut I be!"
Nefari al-Naklawi mulhorandi maskarran and penultimate pick pocket. PVP killed in the sewers via a hold wand. I made his daughter recently, but never played her because of Adam.
Jance Meyerson Retainer to Lord Bhaliir. I got drunk while playing and killed an NPC kid in the slums who was throwing rocks. The whole series of events that followed ended up getting Richard Stallner's paladinhood lost. Jance poisoned himself rather than face the axeman's blade.
Adam Steel Angsty, conflicted Sheriff Marshal, Currently occupies most of my time.
I have a smattering of others of varied levels that I use to help my wife and kids quest.
-
Oh, this seems like fun.
Beastor Skullsplitter, lvl 11
My first character on this server. Was quite popular but i when it came to many things, IC and OOC were the same to me. Was a berserker and a force to reckoned with in his own right. Executed after murdering 2 evildoers in the slums after they "cheated" one of his friends in a duel.Dracor Thunderaxe, lvl 12
This one was perhaps one of the bigger powerhouses in server history. Had a huge following of Banite cultists who attacked everyone and everything that got in their way. Still an utter, utter powerbuild who took on all the powerhouses of his age and won. Stood buffed only with prot from evil against 3 elite orc champions and won. A very fun char who had a horrible temper that resulting in him being killed by his own boss in the end, died as he lived, a loyal tool to the end!Araxthos, lvl 12
Elf, part of an experiment by myself and 2 other friends as we intended to complete every quest the server had to offer. 3 powerbuilds of an elven cleric, elven wizard and elven rogue/fighter/ranger, all level 12 and horribly powerbuilt. Soloed the old negotiations quest without outside buffs but wasn't much to remember in all honesty.Ezron 'Kach' Kachrakon, lvl 8
At long last i had found what the server truly is about and it resulted in my most fun and memorable character ever.
A tiefling, the first one to get the flaming eyes on this server. Got involved with jon and Thrag fo the Sharran cult, original shar follower who turned to Orcus and became a blackguard. Responsible for many horrid things, burning of an orphanage with everyone still inside, sacrificng citizens and leaving the remains for good guys to see. Killed 16 people overall and known for sadistic games where he had people pick which bodypart he removed from their friends and which friends would be the ones to suffer such a fate.Master of stealth, his signature move was to walk into a big group of good guys and drop a bodypart in the middle, then walking off. collected teeth which he believed were connected to one's soul. Took the canine teeth from everyone he ever defeated, had 78 total teeth in the end. Just a horrible, vile person, he was responsible for a tribe of giants annihilating purple dragon garrisons all over the north and was only hours away from slaughtering everyone within the refugee center that was being used at the time.
Had a loyal gang of followers and would never have been able to reach his goals without them. Was finally captured by Rodon Rogermane and handed to the eclestians where he was tortured a lot (and a lot less than he deserved) and in the end betrayed -everyone- he ever worked with to avoid having his teeth pulled before being executed. Met Orcus himself in the afterlife and was sent into the bloodwar as his agent! My favourite char of all those i've played.
Sheriff Rohearn Ashcroft, lvl 10
A man who embodied law to its fullest. Someone who cared not for good or evil, friend or enemy, lord or the poorest peasant… only for the law. Caused a lot of drama and hate from level 1, he worked with some of the underworld to get his way, always intending to betray them and put them behind bars in the end.
Had eyes and ears everywhere and an incredibly fun char who fed on tears and hate of those who stood against him. Noone was above the law. -
Amilia "Vladislous" Corvinus - a half sadistical elf with a dark past and a emotionless armour breached only if she wishes it. She changed her name becoming again invisible after a short but effective feud with an elf and exposed her true nature.
Nikolai - A rogue Idiot who will not take anything as serious as it should be.unless he's in deep enough for him to realise joker time is over, then he'll work hard to keep everyone alive with any means nececary, except frontline assault.
Kessa Thel - Sadistical Sorceress wishing nothing but to cause some excuse to kill someone at full potential of her power. wishes to become a necromancer just because it is in her power to do so, yet fundementally her goals aren't really realistic and those around her know very fast she doesn't know what she's doing at some points.
Lorannia Shadowlady - Paladin of Tyr haunted by her past, became sheriff recently.
Milo Wesker - A bard/fighter who can frontline and afterwards heal himself ftw for him.
the guy became what he is today by dealings with some evil cultist as his henchmen and handled it fairly well.Olaf Grimtooth - your standard 20 con dwarf tank at lvl 3 and 41 hp, dig it!
with an oversize pot helmet and three axes -
Uff .. where to start? Lets just stick with the main characters I played over the years.
Dale Meynn (lvl 7, Priest of Ilmater) - always stood in the front to protect his friends, died countless times
Anyndil Meynn (lvl 15 Bard, Harper) - probably my longest played character who always tried to do the right thing and change the world with his songs. Needless to say, he pissed off quite a few folks and there were a couple of assassination attempts which he survived. Became a Harper and was later kicked out because he wasnt effective enough. When coming online with him I had to spend literary hours to move plots along, update folks, bring them together. At the end he died in a drow cave while on a patrol with a fellow harper who fell there (after accidently attacking some drow). Anyndil gathered aid, headed back into the cave and all doors to the Underworld seemed to have opened. At the end he was the last one out and got a DC 34 death spell into his back which he missed by 2 or so. /forum/viewtopic.php?t=22844&hilit=thorkm&sid=b020663eb55e89f354c8936c67ca7693
Marena (lvl 8 monk of Loviatar) - evil female monk that took folks into the Tired Traveller and whipped the living out of them to test their endurance. She died in a set trap for her in the broken bottle. Was good fun …
/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23924&hilit=thorkm&sid=b020663eb55e89f354c8936c67ca7693Jaron Wenden (lvl 10 Priest of Helm) - he was the ultimate Watchknight, dedicated to Helm and protecting those under his wing. He became the chaplain of house Fezznick and brought the Helmite Brotherhood forward to a force to be reckoned with. Became highly influencial and died at the end defending his city.
/forum/viewtopic.php?t=91673&hilit=thorkm&sid=b020663eb55e89f354c8936c67ca7693Osynthir Cal´eisadarum (lvl 9 Bard) - probably the most intense character I ever played, came out of Chult where he grew up. Got infected by a Weretiger and ate his love in the first night he turned. All that remained of her was a lock of her honey smelling hair which he always carried around in a red leather pouch around his neck. Tried to find ways to bring her back, spent all his coin for such and at the end came to Arabel where he joined the Necromancers at Eastway, utterly disgusted by what they were doing but enduring it since he felt that the weave is weakened there and may offer a way to call his love to his side again. Well, then Clar Banda happened and all hell broke loose. He stood against her, drove numerous plots to end her reign and prevent her from ascending. At the end his love suddenly appeared alive, breathing but weak and spoke of a veiled lady that granted her life. Puzzled Osynthir was glad to be reunited and all his ambitions were somewhat reduced. Then one day in Eastway he was approached by the veiled Lady who was no other than Clar Banda herself who ordered Osynthir to kneel for his love which, under tears and a crushed soul he did. This was the ultimate turning point for Clar Banda and her ascencsion could no longer be stopped. On top of that his love had become the first priestess of Clar Banda and yielded her might. For his betrayal of his friends, the pain he had caused and his own broken heart he made the ultimate sacrifice. The Malarites had descrated Elfhold and Undead were roaming there, the spirit of Hullack was weakened and Osynthir gave his own life in a ultimate battle against the ghosts haunting there, becoming the new spirit guardian of Elfhold, protecting his kin until the end of time.
Bimpbiddle Fidwiddleriddle the VIII (lvl 7, Wizard, retired) - a whole lost of fun with that gnome that was part of the Candlekeepers and tried to investigate the rift. Somehow he didnt really get any grip on the rift and retired.
Drebowick the Henchmen (lvl 5, Barbarian - sidekick)
Herrian Ster (lvl 10, Fighter/Rogue, retired)Rarethylir Tir´eilanandadum (lvl 10 Arcane Archer, retired) - elf that aided the crown in the fight against the bandit king and his lacays with deadly arrows and information gathering. Battled Anya DeSchurr at the Palace gate and went toe to toe with Darmos who basically drove him out of Arabel. Fled into the Hullack as his friends were crushed and slain.
Shell Lyonarshald (lvl 9 Priest of Valkur, retired) - created as a sidekick to one of Olouth´s characters that went to become the pirate king. Needless to say, Olouth crashed something somewhere so this character became obsolete … ;-)
Vich Marna (lvl 8 monk, executed) - an attempt to play evil which actually worked out quite nice and led to a hand to hand with a Purple Dragon Lionar PC where he was captured and later executed.
Collas Jarlin (lvl 10 Ranger, retired) - another long term character who had good ties into the Red Harts and tried his best to overturn the cruel city rule. Managed to gather proof of the new rulers evil doing and opposed pretty much all evil. As the resistance died, he retired.
Kharmuk Ironbinder (lvl 7 Fighter, retired) - a dwarven sidekick to have some fun
Mather Aylomein (lvl 11 Priest of Lathander, murdered) - a man who had lost everything when a necromancer murdered his family and slaughtered his whole village. He had turned to Lathander to bring revenge upon the foul and hunted the one handed, red haired necromancer until his death - without success. He was destined to bring hope to the people, to vanquish undead and evil wherever he found it. In his many adventurers he had gathered fame and fortune and a staff destined to slay near god like beings but this very staff turned out to greatly reduce his channel to Lathander. A blessing and a curse in one. At the end his hatred of the Undead and the staffs influence over his spells became his demise since the assaulted the powerful Tiefling Taloran as he had brought Tristan to the brink of death and feared that Tristan´s powerful warmace will forever be lost. He died trying to protect his friends, his allies and the people he cared for.

Jhlessia Brightmantle - Street thief and pickpocket turned very successful potions merchant. Good-hearted but devious to all hell, she worshiped Mask in secret but still planned to screw over the Legion with a giant batch of explosive potions. Dreamt of owning her own house.
Alexis Lightfell - Sheriff who obsessed over slaying Rift creatures. Started off being very lawful and strict but wound up siding with the Mage's Guild over the Sheriffs. Initiated lots of faction conflict before sadly having to be retired due to RL issues. And many more to come…I hope.

Nelisa Schreiber - Sister of both Rhiannon and Celduil, so she is a half-elf. Only 21 years old, and eager to fight (which also causes sometimes trouble). Usually hanging around Celduil, but seems that she has no idea of the hostilities towards the Eight, nor about the plans of them. Rarely seen in bad mood, smiling and sometimes flirting, but still seems shy (although she is quite not so friendly to her brother). She would like to be more independent, because she wants to wander around more and fight with ugly things.

Just doing the more notable ones
Chadin Samran lvl 12 cleric of Torm
Sad sad young boy without any direction. Ended up in the all wrong groups (market sitter romances and crew powergamers). Divorcee and all that jazz. Was mechanically insane, especially on the save department. Together with his insane HP he could just stand against any npc caster spawn and laugh. Soloed both old gypsie healer and pilgrims easily. Did have a lot of friends. Tried to organise crusade vs banites since lvl 5 or so. Co-founder on Karjala's Cormyte's Boast. Did kill 3 eb0l doers and without Durdyn having even slower transition speed than I, would have tried him as well. 30% spellfailure in the end.Caspar Brodin at best fighter/bard 9
Strange garagossan fighter, who was more for the old "Master of All Weapons". Taunt-master, managed to taunt Doom Knight Commander and then some. Was my first rich character. Once conned "True Raise Ky'ran" fund for some 800 lyons or so with a beshaban cleric. Was going to be evil, but the evil team was boring. After this it was Sharat Karst (my first attempt at evil, stopped as his brother's player got OOC busy) Barendor Brasshammer (short lived priest of Laduguer, murdered and ate a paladin of Torm), Dalben (Cleric of Lurue who looked like Sean Connery)
Then we get to the interesting dudes.
Gavin Oathsong Bard 6
My first app to go through. He was a bard in service of BlackAndGreen priest of Orcus, dude who wished to create "natural undead". Was all about betrayal and murder. If you called him friend and mean it, he would come after you with murder in mind. Necromancer bard, he was insanely underpowered, but still managed to NOT DIE and murder + sacrifice one fighter character. Health issues quitted this character.Ekhmet-Amon Mekri Cleric of Set , lvl 8
The most loved wandmaker. Was part of team of 6 evil characters with linked history. Myra Talanyl, Vincent Bross, Desmond McAllister, Gorrek the Brutal and Grugrim the Gentle. Desmond and the Gentle faded quite quickly, but others, we had a blast. Myra was our leader as we infiltrated the Wyvernwater Militia. I had some health issues for a week or two and was left behind in the status progression because of this. In any case; Ekhmet was nasty piece of work. He robbed people at the Wyvernwater trail with his scythe and around 20 wands he carried. If you pissed him off, you ended up as an animated corpse in the sewers (5 I think…). He was spy for Lord Magus Vorn, best friends with Wilara Dillinger, and hired by an Asabi merchant to turn Wilara, Joe Scarlet and the current Alarphon into stone statues and then sell them after trading an animate dead wand for stone to flesh items to get Wilara and Lucy out of Gorgon stone. Sadly, the DM bailed (booooo!). Ekhmet was insanely good at gathering money (I had over 14k on day 3, which I spent on Desmond's loot and a bag of holding) , my most melee efficient cleric to the date (did really well on ranger 5 levels his senior with insane parry and dm loot) and carried at least 75 charges of call lightning at all times. But what he was best known for... Was this : viewtopic.php?t=54815&p=340950
The fat mulhorandi guy got over 8000 XP by selling wands. I think I never sold more than 10 though... At least publicly.Jarod Whaynen
The Deschurran weaponmaster wannabe. Fought with a wooden katana. No combat damage. Got to level 6, never dying. Did DM quests as a main frontliner. Was poor as hell. Was Amnian to boot, all about hierarchy and doing his best. So he was the Perfect Warrior, emoting his flashy moves even against regular goblins. I had the time, there wasn't that many creatures I could kill with a hit. Even a crit. He also played the Game of Shadows with other retainers, as he considered that to be the duty of a retainer. Was a nice man, but being Perfect Retainer demanded him to do the "dirty work" in his mind. Health issues ended him. viewtopic.php?t=64148 <--- this is what he was aboutGerfannon Wyrmclaw
My uthgardt Red Dragon Discipline wannabe. Ended up as a kind of a champion for the Woodland characters. Totally worthless build as barbarian/bard ( I did so that it sucked! Intentionally!). Hard core uthgardt, so no magical gear (took my companions insane amount of time to get me to use even bard made wands), only used what he took from the enemies, gave gold to his minions and preferred to be paid in silver rings himself. Once lead a raiding force of 13 people, mostly good and neutral, to raid Eveningstar in name of the Tribunal (the HC druids), but was stopped since the place had been reinforced by whole regiment of PD's. Did have insane dice luck when outside scripted quests ; killed two ogre berserkers, naked, unarmed and afk. Build was str 14 dex 14 con 10 int 12 wis 8 cha 16 or something like that. Feats ; imp unarmed (hunted barehanded so that the killed animals would be reborn instead of claimed as war trophies), toughness, skill focus - taunt, and when lvl 6 occasionally happenend, skill focus - intimidate. Killed Unas Sebek in a duel. More or less quitted because of health issues.Sebastian Perawol
My wererat, priest of Zivorgian , Lady of the Ripe Carrion. Posed as a Jergalite priest, practiced cannibalism, made people eat human flesh & human sausages I stole from a cannibal cult quest. Wanted to kill the caretaker of Morgue, tried to establish dominion over trodgolytes and was retired because health issues (see a pattern here?)Barendor Rockborn
Using the same name again, are we? The Grumbarite eb0l dwarf. Spoke with one word sentences if could, unless he was praying to Grumbar. Worked with the Varlets, trying to bring Legion and Red Harts clash sooner rather than later. Worked as a spy for almost every faction involved. As the conflict did not start, he went rogue, killed Squire Roger, and then attempted to against a half-dragon paladin. Was caught. Went to executioner's axe just because decided it would be more effective way to cause conflict.Lord Lionel Jaerdon
One of the Jaerdon twins, the one held in a leash (literally). Tortured by the zhent, the malarite nobleman was dead set in reclaiming his bloodlines heritage and going havoc as a werepanther. Was lost to character Apathy when had many players leaving our faction and RL was being shite as well. My biggest failure.Riana Frostborn / Rhiannon, the Cleansing Wind
Built to be Aurilite Power House , ended up being the Lord of Servitude…
