Rahserat Zordral - Mask on, as per description. Though, he's been doing a lot of wandering about with it off, IG.
_Rahserat scours the various libraries of Arabel searching for information regarding mentions of seige defense mechanisms for Netheril cities. He specifically looks for permanent magical defense systems common across the cities of Netheril, which would protect the city and its inhabitants from an outsider ground threat. Finally, he concludes his search with an extensive search of what caused Netherese cities to float. Incantations and rituals of magic, paired with focus devices are recorded, whereas vague accounts of Mythal powering the city are quickly overlooked.
Lastly, as an afterthought, Rahserat scans the history books for unexplained instances of the magical effects or wards placed upon people attempting to enter the ruins below Arabel, disregarding all recent mentions of the Rift._
Hey guys! I've been trying for some time now (a couple weeks at least) to find portrait packs with interesting looking characters that could be Thayan. Sadly, I keep coming across the same 3 portraits. Does anyone have any they could share with me? I'm looking for any portraits of peeps that are bald and with Thayan-like tattoos. That being said, the original portrait does not HAVE to be representative of a Thayan, but you get the idea of what I'm looking for.
Don't play characters with low charisma. Seriously. This includes, but is not limitted to:
Elves that only speak in elven
Humans whose description mentions something about "hulking" or "brooding"
Dwarves that do nothing but burp and fart
Haflings with shrill voices that "tee hee" everywhere they go
Gnomes that say too many words at once
It is quite possible if you have any of the above, other characters are avoiding you. On the plus side, you are probably doing good at roleplaying, so congrats!
I'd reawaken the Wyvernwater area with a nasty plot involving demons, Infernalist wizards, Corrupt Ecclestians, fervant St. Alubriens, desperate Mystrans, greedy-treasure hunters of the adventurer's guild, and a Pirate King who may or may not turn out to be some form of half-demon creature that wants to unite Toril with the Abyss, thereby creating a new layer for him to rule over. Maybe somewhere in there I'd include something about the awakening of Dagon (it's a port area after all) or Tiamat (there have been numerous dragons in Wyvernwater that simply disappeared when the DM dried up).
On a side note, I miss Thayans. Such a blatantly evil nation that can surprisingly do good things sometimes (though self-interested).
Neathon spends time at the legal offices of Arabel, the Arabellan Library, and among the dockworkers at Immersea. There, he offers blessings from Mystra in exchange for information regarding the ownership of two specific properties, those being:
