Make brewing healing easier via alchermy
-
So currentlly everywere you go, healing wands drop like candy. So you think that making healing via alchermy would be a cakewalk right?
It's really not!
Cure serous healing is currently a level 12 recipe, which to add context is the same as death ward, 2 higher than haste (!!!) and 8 more than bull strength. It seems to me that it should be more like 4-6, with a easier ingredent list to fit with our meta better.

Personally I would say its fine, since healing is the easiest thing you can craft in alchemy. Remember after some time investment, even the higher level stuff in crafting becomes a cakewalk. So it just means you have to put some more time into it than questing, but eventually it will be dead simple.

Cure serous seems so wonkey in difficult through.

Hold on... I don't get it,
The player gave an example of healing being difficult to make compared to other alchemy items.
You said it fine because healing is the easiest thing to make in alchemy?
Er..... Which is it?

The healing essence, which is a base component of healing potions, is very easy to make. Cure serious potions are a level 12 recipe. At alchemy level 10 Toby would maybe have a 40% chance success rate (likely need to be buffed for that).
Some of the other level 12 recipes are Death Ward, Antidote and Clarity. Potions of Speed are a level 10 recipe, easier to craft percentage success rate (though only if you can get enough of the reagents, which seem rarer than the healing ones).

It's very easy to make for as @listen4silence said, the recipe is -dead- simple. Sure the % is hard, but with the ingrediencies being so readily available, it is not as time consuming compared to others. If healing is too easy to make, you can rise is alchemy levels way too fast.
-
having played a high level alchemist, its easier to make speed than cure serious. It used to be a whole lot harder, as one of the ingredient was sparse, but that was improved. Still, % wise, its easier to make speed. I would suggest swapping the difficulty of speed and cure serious at the very least.

Thistle for Essence of Speed has proven to be quite elusive. I've found two spots so far (I expect there are more that I'm missing) but even then, unless you plan to spend quite a bit of time waiting for them to respawn over and again, it would be much faster levelling skill with serious healing like @Puffy said (I hadn't thought of that, thanks!). I tend to collect over a couple of days as you only get one or two (mostly one) leaves from each plant.
For Essence of Cure; Aloe seemed to be much easier to find and the gem dust is available in stores. You can easily afford the screw ups that come from the higher percentage.

I think it's also worth pointing out that potions give better self-healing than wands because you can consume them more quickly. So having an abundance of wands doesn't make cure serious potions less valuable.
That said, I have no opinion on what skill level they should be. The argument to make them more accessible makes sense to me but I don't have strong feelings one way or the other.
