        Can't reproduce this.

        Looks like the book is missing a variable.
        I've added a player message to tell them to report it to a DM, and that this seems to be the issue, if this happens in future.

        (You'll need a new book)

          Would help to know where you got the book, since the one in the palette has the right variables.
