HEY PEEPS! Who deserves a statue in the ladies challenge???
-
Hey there. I'm designing the new ladies challenge area and the Tyche temple. I would like to make it a hall of heroes of sorts. Alternatively, I also intend to put a little something special in the Tyche temple as well that'll house champions that are to be honored.
PROBLEM IS. I'm a new player whose only been here for a week and a half. SO!
So please if you can, in this very neat order write down champions (pc's preferably but if you wanna put some npcs in there that were super important please do) of the past that deserve themselves a little slice of glory!-
Name of the champion/hero
-
Era that they served in.
-
God they served.
-
Great deed they accomplished or what they did for the city.
-
How they actually looked if you can remember. Vague details is fine. I can improvise. But please try to provide. I like to be thorough with descriptions and accurate.
-
Whether they gave their life or not for the city or Cormyr and any groups they might have been affiliated with.
-
Any extra info you see fit.
This would be tremendous help, thank you!!
@Forte (Someone told me you'd have a ton of info on discord.) -

Lisa Amraphen, Paladin of Hoar.
Served in the days leading up to the Primordial attack.Liberated the city from the infernalist, Kresswell.
Walked away into the sunset.
Can't remember how she looked. Slushie character, so a half elf with large breasts.
Included the entire server in her plot at LEAST once.

@people said in HEY PEEPS! Who deserves a statue in the ladies challenge???:
Lisa Amraphen, Paladin of Hoar.
Served in the days leading up to the Primordial attack.Liberated the city from the infernalist, Kresswell.
Walked away into the sunset.
Can't remember how she looked. Slushie character, so a half elf with large breasts.
Included the entire server in her plot at LEAST once.
So, Lisa was a paladin of Hoar around the era of V3; a member of the Sheriffs who refused to wear her uniform because it didn't mean what it was supposed to, and she worked to get the Sembian dictator Kresswell out of power. At time an anti-hero, and indeed she did fall during her work (because she was a slave from the underdark who had a mean streak in her) she did eventually take down several high profile criminals at the time, get made into a divine champion of her god.
Along the way she made a deal with the Red Raven mercenary company to lay siege to the city in concert with the Order of the Red Hart who were also working to bring him down. Sometimes overtly, sometimes within the shadows, High Sheriff Amraphen worked to bring this despot down even when every fiber of her being told her she was 'free' of the shackles of paladinhood. She did eventually get her paladinhood back before she unfurled the black scroll on which was written the damnation of the Sembian.
In front of a group of nobles, adventurers and Kreswell's own private assassins, she spelled out his crimes: murders, the destruction of large swaths of the Arabel countryside and involvement in the bloodstone trade.
He fled the girl and the growing mob, escaped into the forest, chased by the city. Lisa retired from the Sheriffs, in uniform, the following day, leaving the organization (and the future of Arabel) in the hands of Hawkin (I believe was his name) and left Cormyr all together shortly thereafter to continue her work and find peace of mind.
She was a human girl, around 18, kind of pear shaped with palish-skin, brown hair and eyes and she looked perpetually tired- aged before her years by the Underdark and her 'freedom' granted by Hoar (freedom from slavery by serving as a paladin).
I only bring this up because I was working on a story for her quite recently. She was a lot of fun to play and was my first 'successful' plotting character.

@thetwistingwind what I said, right?
-
Well if its going to be in the server it does need to be abit more specific that x killed y
-
@Lady-of-Dungeons does it have to be a single character specific or can it be relating to a group? I think in these things if an entire group can be incorperated then its better as its a nod to more who were involved rather than the single PC
-
@lady-of-dungeons Just remember folks; while LoD is helping us out with her energies, the DM team will decide who gets noted for what. I mean, its a pretty HUGE honor to get yourself memorialized in game!
-
I would prefer individual people but you can always put down multiple people. - that said if you feel a group has made a difference, go ahead and put them down here.
I can’t garuntee they’ll be put in as all this stuff will get passed through the dm team. But I’ll ask! -
This is also true. I SUPER could use help tho.
-
Message me on Discord and I can try to help you out, I keep a lot of records.

Papal had this one armed tormite paladin who slew an abberant god or Whatever it was. He got a statue in the Eye of the Primordal. Should be considered for addition to the shrine.
Can't recall the name.
-
@dagonlives Tsar Hicks!!!!
Led the negotiating party to gather allies for Thune and company to kill the Cyrist zhents.
He uh....he crushed an alien heart in his hands, knowing it would destroy him. His final act as inquisitor for the north, under the Reborn Sun.
Holy shit, he did do a lot of stuff. I mean other than getting slapped around by the aliens cult lol.
-
Also someone pointed out I made it sound like DMs are going to be heavy handed on this, if players really coalesce around someone(s): we'll give it serious thought because the players you all want to acknowledge are important to the community and doing things right and we trust that!
-
The trio who rebuilt Eveningstar, recovered the Staff of Ilmater and killed Kresswell
v3 back when there was still an Elven Embassy in Maleen's Tower
Ithlinne of Evermeet, Ambassador of Myth Drannor to Cormyr
Samir of Old Town, member of the Plebeian Court
Can't remember the last person -
•Name of the BAD GUY
Xzavien Kresswell•Era that they served in.
V4 I think?•God they served.
No idea.•Great deed they accomplished or what they did for the city.
Evil guy who basically took over the city, using the Staff of Illmater to control the Devil Dragon. Nasty piece of work.•How they actually looked if you can remember. Vague details is fine. I can improvise. But please try to provide. I like to be thorough with descriptions and accurate.
I can probably dig out the portrait used..•Whether they gave their life or not for the city or Cormyr and any groups they might have been affiliated with.
Cult of the Dragon I think, not 100% sure though!•Any extra info you see fit.
He was a wizard, and had a staff. -

Would be nice to find a way to commemorate groups more as well, to get away from the idea of "if you're not first you're last" (TM Ricky Bobby)
- Second Suns: Got Lahl the elixer from youth and generally a very goody group in a grimdark period of CoA
- Banite Cohort: The baddest of the bad, battled against good and evil both to spread Bane's influence in northern Cormyr, to the point of converting a previously Tormite noble house.
- Harrowed Huntsmen: Mercenary Company whose ambitions at a Royal Charter were never realised as their leadership died defending the Temple of Tempus.
-
Okay but I need heroes, not villains guys. XD Im making the area, not the mobs. The dms will be deciding the mobs. I'll be putting in nice statues to decorate the halls.
-
@lady-of-dungeons Villains work too really. ;) Tyche is neutral.
-
@maggers Kresswell and Lisa could face one another!
