Your Dream CoA Concept
-
Hi team!
What is the one CoA concept or thing you've wanted to do but never managed it?
For me it's simply play a Palemaster! I have tried and tried and never managed to stick with something long enough, or come up with something cool enough to make it happen.
What is your CoA thing you've never manged to do and always wanted?

Harper Scout, but not someone who sneaks around. Just a person who hides in plain sight and provides intrigue to other good PCs.

Unseelie Satyr Seer, not unlike the picture I currently use for my avatar. I'd throw tarot and 'see' futures in a way that tried to play off of or manipulate people.
Also because clip clop hooves.

This.

A man, who like any other man, finds true love.
Then kills it to ascend to godhood.
-
A concept with friends.

I have tried for 13 years to achieve Harper Scout. I am so bummed that I never succeeded. So many attempts at the CG paragon of intrigue, several applications, and three approved Harper Concepts through the years, never worked or made the DMs think I deserved it.
I also wanted to play a sembian spy, a Silver Raven. I even had the DMs approve the concept, but back then I am not sure they knew what it was, so I never actually got what I applied for :(
But Harper Scout was the dream.
-
I've always wanted to play a lich, vampire or a similar kind of badboy leading his cult of freaks.
My characters usually die before they get to that point :stuck_out_tongue:
-
An effective Cyricist in an effective Cyricist group.
A Tormtar Paladin from the Order of the Golden Lion.
An Old Town revolutionary who manages to actually get some public beheadings of the rich and powerful happening.
Any noble anytime.
-
Mine is the next concept I am doing. Psychologically damaged war veteran PD road captain who was demoted from Lioneer for trying to save his best friend during war. Try to make back to Lioneer and eventually knight but will have to fight incredibly difficult psychological issues and alcoholism, as well as (spoilers!) things I can't mention because of amazing concept twists that might cause people's heads to explode. Would be cool to bring the war and it's destructive effects into the game, nightmares, flashbacks, a broken but good man trying to fix his shattered mind and soul.
-
A tiefling noble with actual power and backing who's doing ostensibly good things in the name of their god and fighting their infernal heritage- sometimes giving in to it and flaunting both sides of this particular silver coin in the face of paladins and society at large.
I still plan to app for it sometime soon, but every time I bring it up, I get laughed at.
"You may hate what I am, but you will bend the knee all the same; I am what you cannot be and I do what you cannot do."
-
@thetwistingwind I'd minion for that.
-
I always wanted to play a tiefling who actually bought and sold souls/favors for a devil. He'd never directly be involved himself, just a Lawful Evil rogue/wizard probably who asked what people wanted/wished for and said for the right fees he could help you make it happen. He'd handle the contracts, but personally be entirely uninvolved in the infernal exchanges himself so the law could do very little against him.
-
Any concept that actually does something significant and is remembered.
coughRikkashDeLuthholdingoffCromandBlacksilversoloandthenduelinghardcastletothedeathcough
Ahem.
-
@mrmoloch thats actually a brilliant concept.
-
i find that i enjoy most stuff i do, but struggle to pull off the evil stories, i would love to achieve a pale master.
i thought a jergalite cleric/rogue(then assassin) would make for a perfect one... tbh been thinking about this recently! -
Always wanted to play a Thayan Knight but never really got in cahoots with someone at the right timezone etc to try and be the Red Wizard to go with it.
-
A Doppelganger, of any nature really I just really like Doppelgangers.
-
Harper Scout.
Totally a dream, because I can't intrigue.

Omg yes. I will make one with you.
