Creating character names

When creating characters, DO NOT use none standard, none english characters.

NOR CAN YOU USE

apostrophes like these

' <–--------------------

or these

` <–------------------------

or any other punctuation in a name.

Just letters. Standard english letters.

Any characters made outside of this rule may run into various bugs, and we will not be able to offer a fix to any of them.

Other name rules

No naming characters after famous people RL (ie Orlando Bloom the Saucy El)

No naming characters after famous fantasy people (ie Harry Potter the amazing sorcerer with a stone)

No naming characters after canon FR/CoA characters (ie Myrmeen Lhal 0.2 or Hardcastle Junior)

If you wish to use a canon family name noble by birth or not, APPLY THROUGH AN APPLICATION FIRST. People who ignore this, will simply have their name removed
(ie Cindy DeSchurr)

There is a possible fix for established characters who already have these characters in their names. But it is time consuming and will only be performed in limited circumstances, and certainly not on any character made after this announcement.

Please stop naming characters after canon families/characters/noble houses without checking with the DMs first, it doesn't matter how lesser it is. Check with us first, those who do not will just have their name removed. This include all races, countries and lore.

Hope that puffy changes your name. I don't have time, and will delete the character as it is faster.

Hey guys. You know this? This includes game characters like, LoL for instance, as just one example.

If you have named your character after something from a computer game, and if your then even going further to try and emulate them with appearance/character build, then you need to come to the DM team and ask how this can be remedied.

Because I actually will delete them.
