Volmar is dead by my hand once more due to my skill with a Helmsblade and Guardian Style

After a gruelling battle to reach him in which Treth ambushed us likely after Ursula we faced him down.

Despite best efforts all of us besides myself were felled.

I refused to surrender and overcame him and used the mixture to petrify him and destroyed him once and for all

To boost relations with Eveningstar I gave Maire of the House of the Morning a vile sickle that was recovered from Volmars attack on a farm on the High Road and asked them to find a way to destroy it or seal it away

I thought them best suited for the job as Fyevarra who was with me did not think she could do it and the Precept cannot be trusted at the moment due to Treth and his vile infernalist ways

Volmar made sendings offering Abyssal power to those who would offer their flesh to the object so general adventurers certainly cannot be trusted to not be tempted by power

I have witnessed Treth use this "dark flame" myself and he can summon fiends.

He claims he has permission from the crown to summon fiends as long as it is not within the city.

Still I find this repugnant.

I believe we have enough to charge him with infernalism

The locals in deadwell insist that the reason the undead keep appearing in the crypts is that adventurers keeping going in and disturbing the rest of the dead.

The undead literally do not wander past a certain threshhold from the graveyard which may lend credence to the theory.

I personally suspect that the undead are the byproduct of a certain wizard's experiment- but the evidence for such is non-existent.

I asked Val if she had any idea what happened to Pelagia as she was involved in this incident

She informed me that Pelagia was last seen on a job she did with Val and the Lower House to try and capture the dark dwarf Dourhand that has been working with the Precept.

They failed to capture him and Val and most of the Lower House were ransomed by Dourhand to Ercole.

Treth and Izereth however tied up Pelagia and this was the last time she was seen. It is Vals opinion Pelagia never left the mines alive after the attempt on Dourhand

I have spoken with the “retainers” of this would be noble. And while the terms that which they refer to themselves are indeed suspect; they are just words. If this Rivior wishes to play as one of his betters, we should at least find some use of him and his gaggle of followers.

As such I have “agreed” to work with him in an arrangement. In exchange for their agreed action to aid me in as of yet undisclosed actions.

I do think we can make use of these individuals as a cats paw. And should the Guard decide they are a threat to deal with we will have assured we have kept them under close watch with myself as an informant of their actions.

I would recommend a stance of observation and mild hands on attention. Perhaps we can find a use for these upstarts.

I have dealt with Tristan as you asked. He is currently being held in the Palace for treason, by me.

I have the means to have him pardoned of all crimes, and sent home in perfect health, but, I have some demands, unlike you however, I have options for you to choose from, instead of just one, mad, demand.

Option 2. Tristan is pardoned - The law on Tieflings and other heritages being able to wander your town is revoked. - I am to be married to Sir Myrkyr Thaddoth within the tenday, and given the title of Lady Thaddoth, high sorceress of Eveningstar.

I am sorry that Tristan may be frustrating to deal with, it is the card in my hand and it is the one I am playing.

You could always fold, take option three, and we reshuffle the cards.

Option 3. Tristan is executed for treason. It is made know that you could have saved your man, but chose his death instead.

I have written to him asking for the details of the arrest in a statement as I understand she called him to the palace to talk under parlay then attacked him on the road to arrest him
