Yes, most likely the above. Moving this to closed since appears to not be a bug.
Hi all. We're conducting a top to bottom review of the items produced from the crafting system and looking for some community help. We've been making adjustments piecemeal but there remain items that just aren't "worth it". The first of the crafting streams we are diving into is https://nodebb.cityofarabel.com/category/368/crafting
If you've been using the crafting system for metal armours, we'd love to have you participate and contribute. The other crafting streams will be done along the way so if you've experience in Tailor & Leather Working or Gems etc, we hope you'll participate when we're there.
If you're interested, drop us a message in the Faction Request Channel on Discord.
Happy Gaming!
We're rolling out a few things shortly that will impact discord channel access and forums. Stay tuned for more.

fine but i dont want to hear one word of complaint from zolm
Well since the sun appeared in the sky today….
We’ve approved this type of time of time for on creation PCs before and we have items exactly like it already readily available in the store.
Regardless of how long he sticks around, having him play a pc adds to the fun and interactions.
The item itself is based of gear available for purchase in the Ranger only and Rogue only stores and would be:
Bracers of the Chain Breaker
Forged from the shackles that previously bound Ragnar Ironstorm, the bracers are linked to the very chains that were used to strangle his former master.
//Application item and OUB by: Ragnar Ironstorm
Only usable by single class barbarian. Do not multiclass.
No Heavy Armour
Do not UMD
Class: Barb (Pure)
Deity: Saint Gondegal of the Eternal Revolution, Various Others
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral, probably gonna end up Chaotic Evil though.
Age: Something past 20
Biography: A former slave who escaped his oppressors by choking them with the very chains they bound him in, Ragnar is an impetuous, hot-blooded man who throws himself into the thickest fighting with a Maelstrom of violence and fervor. All his life, he grew up a slave, and now as a free man, he wishes to break the chains that all men suffer from it, be it the literal chains of slavery, the ones we place upon ourselves, the social mores of society, or the oaths of fealty to men who think themselves greater.
All men deserve to be free, whether they want it or not. Tis better live free, passionate, and furious- than the slow death of stagnancy, indifference, and apathy.
Application for: Loot to support my build with the two weapon fighting and ambiodexterity feats. Slot is dealer’s choice, or LETO’d directly onto the BIC file or script added via the NwnX_Give_Feat function- Whichever is easiest.
Goals:
Begin a revolution, if he succeeds, fuck off and let someone else deal with the fallout, kinda like the Brexit Party.
This will be achieved by:
1. Pointing out the flaws of governance of the royal family.
a. Overreaching by policing what people may believe and worship- Order of Thaumaturgy, Black Chalice Heresy, etc…
b. The slow removal of figures of the revolution from positions of power: See, Arabel’s Former Treasurer, now drunk in the inn.
c. Revolutionary heroes failing to support the current government, see: Jo Sparrow, other members of the Revolutionary Guard such as Pericles and NPCs from the Rabble Rousers
2. Overtake the rise of foreign, Cormyte Nobility (see, Immersea and House Cormaeril and the Divine Champion of Siamorphe being made Lord).
a. Work beside the Cleric of Umberlee, Zach, and overthrow the lawful neutral authority of Cormaeril and turn the noble keep there into a Citadel of the Fury of Umberlee as compensation for his aid, turning Immersea into a pirate and smuggler’s haven as a religious Bishopric, ruled by the Church of the Wave Queen.
b. See that the Spellsword servant of the goldfeather queen in Tilverton fails to tame the land, and Tilverton remains a testament to noble hubris.
c. Eradicate both Braerwinter and Delzud as up and coming noble houses, and advocate for noble pioneers to settle the Stormhorns to tame the mountains as free settlements and cities, ruled by **democratic** means.
3. Remove the curse upon Rivior’s Keep (undead spawn there) and make it a Citadel of the Revolution by which a Revolutionary Guard shall ensure the ideals of the revolution remain prosperous and alive.
a. Do Rivior Things, this one is less thought out and more as a nice thing to have if successful.
4. Animate the dead members of Gondegal’s Royal Guard as ‘champions and revenants of the revolution’
a. This is more of Cadiz’ idea. I am going to let him spearhead the ‘how’ and stuff in this regard.
5. Be a cool villain for people.
Goals:
Revolution Against the Crown
Challenge the authority of the royal family by highlighting their failings:
Overreach in policing beliefs and faiths (e.g., Order of Thaumaturgy, Black Chalice Heresy).
Removal of revolutionary figures from power (e.g., former Treasurer of Arabel).
Lack of support for the government from past revolutionaries (e.g., Jo Sparrow, Pericles).
Disrupt Foreign Nobility
Undermine the rise of foreign nobility like House Cormaeril:
Work with Zach, the Cleric of Umberlee, to overthrow Cormaeril and transform Immersea into a pirate haven under Umberlee's rule.
Sabotage Tilverton to ensure it stands as a symbol of noble failure.
Crush Braerwinter and Delzud as emerging noble houses, advocating for free settlements in the Stormhorns governed democratically.
Revolutionary Strongholds
Remove the curse on Rivior’s Keep and establish it as a Citadel of the Revolution, with a guard ensuring the revolution’s ideals are preserved.
Animate Gondegal’s Guard
Raise the dead members of Gondegal’s Royal Guard as champions of the revolution (in collaboration with Cadiz).
Villain Role
Serve as an engaging antagonist for players, bringing chaos and conflict into the world.
@foamcastle said in Add a Dual-Wield Feat Item to Pure Barb Store:
For completely serious and non-malicious reasons, I’d suggest this item be a pink feathery loin cloth or some other bright color. Perhaps, it makes the wearer more reckless in combat and more resilient to damage for a -1 or -2 to will saving throws and 10% immunity from some form(s) of physical damage. Something in the description about how the sight of the ancient tribe wearing these items on the warpath instilled terror in early agricultural settlements.
This made me laugh. Well done!
So a rogue and ranger get a great perk for balance and because a different player suggested it, but a barbarian who wishes to dual wield somehow gets put at a disadvantage? What if the barbarian doesn't want to wield an axe? What if the rogue item combo was a long sword and a hand axe?
There is creativity/thematic from a item point of view. Then there is finding a way to open up a substandard form of combat to more concepts and helping make them a bit for viable.
Seems a bit like looking for a reason to say no then saying yes to expand the ways for interesting concepts and less optimal builds to be played and fun had.
Sad.
