On my patrols today, I heard noise from the old True Sun Castle, south of Arabel. I saw light within, and as I entered, I found that the foul heretics had a functioning shrine within the old castle!

I departed immediately, though I felt my hand clench around hilt of the Sunblade in my belt! Should we allow these heretics and blasphemers continued right to preach their foul doctrines and heresies to the good people of Arabel? Or should we envoke a holy march, and see them either bend the knee to convert, or feel Lathanders wrath upon them?

I believe such decisions are entirely in your hands, Argun and Lord Belon? But perhaps, trough all of our hardships, it is time we show that we still have teeth?

As the heretics are also abusing the name of Helm, perhaps it would be in the interest of the Temple of Helm and The Greywatch, to bring these people to their knee?

If these heretics are not a threat to us or our faith, I have no desire to do battle with them.
That said, it sounds like the ones within have had time to reflect on their actions, their desires and beliefs, and have had time to mourn the consequences of such.

Perhaps it's a good time to extend a hand to them and offer them a path back into the light.

A letter arrives, with a clear attempt to hide the middle part with ink, though a clever man could likely still make it out.

My Lord Belon, Dawnlord Argun,
Heresy is in my eyes a matter that entirely falls under the perview of the church. I reported my findings, and offered my support to whatever end you may desire. From what I have gathered, the place still offers services, like most other shrines, so entirely broken they are not.

~~We lost the war. I had hoped that by defeating Hezebel and returning the artifact, some resemblance of pride would return to the church.~~

If the church merely wishes to turn the other cheek to these heretics, like you do that disgusting Precept woman who is collecting all our artifacts, that is your choice. I saw this as an opportunity to show the world, that the Church of Lathander still had teeth in its bite, is all.

Let me know what you decide, and whether we should mobilize our knights or find other good deeds to do instead.
