RE: Arabel's Rat Problem
It seems that whatever is down there with the rats has shown some sort of intelligence. Some speak of were-rats, lycan creatures. When I returned to check on my traps, I found nothing but the corpse of a cat. I decided to upgrade my traps to a more powerful sort. Deadlier than the previous and more concealed, and I've placed more traps around the places where I found the most concentration of rat dung. Hopefully these ones will fair better than the last. Now all I have to do is wait and see.

RE: Traps stopped working
Ended up making another trap several hours later. It worked just fine. No reset between. So idk. Shrugs I don't think it matters at all, but when the traps stopped working, it was during the sewer Goblin quest.

Traps stopped working
The new batch of minor fire traps I created today didn't seem to work. I could place them as normal, but enemies would trigger them with no save or damage. The trap just vanished into thin air. They were working yesterday though.

Cat Bell
The Cat Bell item you get from Santa unfortunately immediately unsummons whatever it is you summon so fast that you can't even see what it is.

RE: Arabel's Rat Problem
It seems the rats are mainly coming up through the sewer access grates around the city. I headed down and planted eight or so minor fire traps, two or so in roughly each cardinal direction. I tried to set them aside of any main walkways so if anyone did happen to wander by they might avoid the snares. I heard some of the bird people live down there. I baited each one with some Garlic and Onion chips. The strong odor should be enough to get the attention of those rats. In the meantime I've made several more, enough for two or three more cycles. I'll have to wait a few days to see if the traps are having any effect on their population. If not I'll have to see about putting together some stronger ones.

Arabel's Rat Problem
Seems the big city of Arabel has a growing infestation of rats. So much so that large amounts of rat droppings are everywhere which is creating quite the health hazard. Hunting down rodents isn't quite what I expected to be doing, but it's a good cause I can get behind. I haven't really heard or read anything about any trappers, so I decided to put some of my skills to work.

RE: OOC Stuff
The pin(key) does not give access(locked) to the storage chest in the factions rest area.

RE: OOC Stuff
Quality of life suggestion: Make the prestige chest more accessible somehow.
Pros: Currently having the chest in Collinswood gives one more reason to actually visit the settlement.
Cons: It's very, very unappealing to have to run through 4 transitions, or 8 going both ways, from Arabel city to Collinswood and back, just to turn in 25 points worth of prestige. -
RE: Member Introduction
Name: Eleden Balmore
Rank: Fellow
Short Introduction: Eleden lived a peaceful life as a fur trapper out in the woods until he lost some family members on the day Eveningstar got salted. Believing life was better before the revolution and that the current Crown doesn't seem to be doing much to help anyone, he sought out the Fellowship to have a more proactive part in his day to day life and hopefully make a change.
Main skills: Dual wielding, Archery, Traps, Stealth, and Handling Animals
