Raise the amount of weight a player can carry
-
I would suggest that we raise the lbs amount a player can carry based of their strength one step up in the scale, currently everyone is encumbered.
10 STR = 12 STR, 12 STR = 14 STR, etc.
-
Everyone needs to ditch weight then. It's always been the way that if you want to carry a lot of things, you invest in strenth. It's currently what's keeping any and every caster from just having 8 strength. This would be a gigantic SNEAK powerup for wizards and the like, who most certainly don't need a sneak buff.

Nyet. Trash your junk.

Yes, like the idea. Crafting components weigh a lot. So do some of the end products. On top of standard adventuring gear that can cripple low str characters, even with magic bags being easier to come by, and mean less adventuring gets done.

I've reduced the weight on most all of them. (Nuggets are 8.4 instead of 10; mineral gems are 1.0 instead of 3.1, stuff like that). I've done reduced most of the alchemy components to 0 because they're leafs and flowers and roots (and usually it's wizards doing alchemy so this off-sets their lower str). My next idea is to reduce the weight of required items (like gem crafter tool, carpenter tools, & sewing kits) that might help a little, but they're only 0.5 each right now. Granted, if you are experimenting with all crafting types, those things add up.

Definitely a no from me.

No from me either. You can employ one of the following sure ways to stop being encumbered:
- Buy a Strength Potion/Wand
- Have someone cast Bull's Strength on you
- Invest more points in Strength
- Get rid of items
-
I also believe weight reduction bags are available in the mod in quests as well as stores, if I recall?
-
@SpiffyMeister And are craft able by PCs as well.

Maybe droids could carry more with their animal companion out?
-
Not possible unless we give them a passive strength bonus for having companions out.
