Lizardman quest not worth it - improvements?



  • current Lizardmen quest requires almost as many potions as a full FD pvp session.

    I've used at least a full 25 cure serious, 2 cure critical, 3 blurs 3 protect from evil, and god only knows what else.

    for 250 gp. and maybe 800 exp. and a suit of leathers.

    Here is what I think is a possibility.

    • up the rewards drastically in monetary gains
    • lower quest difficulty by a fuckton to match the reward.


  • I think the difficulty of the quest is alright, but the reward is not. It honestly feels like the party was scammed by a gnomish prank into going in there, and while the feel is "correct", it's also one of the few quests I've found with a lenient level range, that ends up as an absolute meat grinder for a small party. I think adding a few potion stacks to the lootable placeables along the way would make this quest a bit more forgiving in terms of supply consumption without compromising the spirit of the quest in terms of ambience.

    We're looking into adding potion rewards to NPCs, the quest was reported as too easy previously so perhaps we can tone it down a little or raise it to 7-10?

    I really would prefer to keep the difficulty as is, but add better rewards. Meatgrinders are fun. Potion expenses are not.

    I'll raise it to a 7-10 quest they give better exp and gold 🙂 Potion rewards is wip
