CoA Trivia!

Relickiller bordered on being too nice, if there is such a thing.
-
Relickiller and Overusedchewtoy were the ones who showed me how to powerbuild. <3
-
Relickiller for DM IMO
-
Keep on topic.
-
who remembers the last time 55 naked people all stood in line waiting for the winds to howl and be dropped into east after the Wipe
and polaris reminds me the of the rebel gold leader in the trench of the death star, stay on target…..

Could add Anyndil and Galandrias to Harper list, even though Anyndil was kicked out ;)
Flower picking also meant Orcs in the Sewers for certain group, to keep the group size low.
DeSchurr fullplate was +1, +3 to intimidate.
Name four Fezznick dwarves, auxlia counts.

Bits of trivia and some old game shots I was able to find on my HD (unfortunately wide shots of the city is not something I had much of):
The "Mages guild" is actually Elaida's Tower. It was a PC's personal place. It became the home to the Mystran shrine and a "mage guild" at the start of v2 of right after. The book translation quest was given by Illiandrin Starym, a former PC of the same person who played Elaida de'Roihan. Iliandrin was Elaida's apprentice. Elaida was killed when drow attacked the city one month and the tower passed to Iliandrin.
Rondar and Decca were the couple of Tymorans who started the Hall of 6.
The Shrine of Lathander was in the slums. It was the poorest and most rundown of the shrines. They said the only time it showed Lathander's glory was when the sun shone through the hole in the roof. The temples Chauntea and Selune are now also missing from Arabel.
Moloch was a DM for 19 days before the second wipe was announced.
This was the friendly introduction from an early DM "For the next couple of weeks, I'll be cleaning house in the European times so don't be surprised, if there are a "few" bootings, warnings and bannings in the near future." Now that is DM love.
Praise Bale! was shouted by a PC early in v2 when a DM dropped a nasty spawn on him. (Unfortunately, I no longer have the screenshot.) Trom was invented later to compliment Bale. If you met a cleric in game who didn't know anything about the FR gods, who chose domains based on the most powerful you would send a tell to a friend, "Praise Bale" when introducing him so they'd know they were just some powergamer and not waste time asking about their religion.
"Talltree" is a horrible curse and represents one of the darkest times in CoA. The server used to crash, a lot. And it required a DM to reboot it. No auto-restart scripts or anything. During these times, someone would declare "Talltree X" where X is another server's name. Everyone would roll 20 STR halforcs and hit that server and grief everything in sight.
Timestop wasn't created with multiplayer in mind. The Ilandrian NPC could cast it and would if attacked. If cast by a NPC the duration was permanent and server wide. If you wanted to shut down the server you could roll a 1st level character, run to the Mage Tower and attack Illy. She would cast time stop and every area on the server would freeze. You could still use the SHOUT channel so everyone just sat in game frozen making jokes.
We need a return of the Jorg mercenaries. If anyone is looking for a group that hasn't made an appearance in a long time. They were part of quest you could get in the TT.
Shot of the "Elf Shack" in the market. This was either the precursor to the lesbian stone, or it was nearby.
The original TT interior:
Mob going after a criminal. Gankfest with Merciful Swords and Player Guards. One of the many versions of East Arabel… I think the chessboard may have still been around at this time (Old guard uniforms, but I think most people remember those):
Public executions used to take place in the central fountain. This is one of Elrath's executions:
Original fugue robes and fugue:
Dead drow and I unfortunately cut of her head in this shot- was Lord Lahl in her fancy red uniform and with both hands. Backs of Jesse and Xania (first blackguard I think). I wish I had a better shot of the palace… I'm guessing many people don't know what it looked like.
Slums arena (Xedu and she's not fighting by Xal Sol Seeker. Two of the highest level monks ever):
Three of the houses' retainers and the KotMS armor:
Illiandrin as a player (and me getting power attacked by something with a 98AB for 106HP. I didn't even get a free rez. for that DM kill):
This is a lot of the players of v2 (a DM teleported a full server to the Eastway Inn) Conan, X, Taliya, Lokarn (of the forge fame), Thea, many who I don't know:

More screenshots please.

I guess it was long enough ago that I can out her now. I don't think anyone ever found out that Gleaming Blade Danu was a Harper.

This trivia thread brought a smile to my face today! The old Arabel was…so much fun. I missed out on v2 I'm afraid, but v3 was SWEET. I will forever remember the Houses DeSchurr, Fezznick, and Thond with fondness. The KoMS, original battles with Clar Banda...some amazing times.

Highest arrest record of any guard?
-
most escapes from the teleportation wand
-
-
-
That would be a tough one to tell, since there were guards who didn't have to record arrests.
Then there's also Santista who discovered you could arrest yourself and used it as a wand of teleport while waiting for it to get fixed- so if you count those arrests, he might have had the record.
-
@21:
Highest arrest record of any guard?
Kaeden Myers I believe?
We've a winner. A modest 250 arrest count. Highest on record by at least 100 or so.

And then you made him a DM.
Thanks to him, I am the only Fezznick retainer besides the (now forgotten NPC head retainer) who got to wear the all gold house Feznick armor.

I'm blanking on the cleric who invented Bale. He was the same cleric who could tell you how many times you had to kill and raise Lord Fezznick to go from 12th to 13th level. His domains are Air and Magic, back before call lightning only worked outdoors.
The character you're looking for is "naldur Patten", with the grammatical error and all. When I noticed the thread, I knew Nikko would reach far back and go into hard mode.
The correct DM order as best I can remember was - Rocc & Vshar, Neruke, Ril, EntropyMu, Slider, Bork.
