Verk / Adrian Iverlesk / Assassination
-
Things are heating up between a few players and in preparation for potential power play, I'd like to see the team's interest in letting a contract be taken out on Adrian
Bit of a summary
- He's ruffled a lot of feathers and disliked by many pcs
- He's pushing an agenda this is unpopular with many pcs
-
- Crown registry of Sorcerers
-
- How to deal with the War on Tilverton
-
- Actively trying to persecute sorcerers in game
I'd be interested to see if Frankie could be nudge into Assassin or if other players icly negotiate to have Iverlesk handled.
Not declaring open season, merely preparing -if- things unfold.

I've never seen an application for an assassination! If its IC it's IC, don't think an app is necessary. If he's been burning bridges and lighting the villages on the other side on fire then there's consequences.
-
We've had issues before where one DM thinks it is completely IC and justified for an FD of player and another DM disagreeing. There is always the question of "has a player earned the right to kill this other player" which is subjective.
This way we avoid the retcon and irritation and players playing mom vs. dad.
The question would be Is it justified for an assassination to occur if it comes about ICly?

Abstaining as well for obvious reasons.
-
Finwick has asked me whether he can assassinate Adrian ahead of trial - suspecting him to betray their deal.
Think it'd be more interesting to try and paint Adrian as a traitor as well, but if he wants to kill him - eventually Adrian's politics are going to catch up with him.

Yes
-
Francesca also wants to kill him so someone will get to him eventually.

Getting blown up at the seige event
