Suggestion about Recovering from Bleedout
-
I just waited 6 IG hours to see if I'd recover and I did... finally.
But the second I stood up with my 1 hp, the hostile killed me.
Can we get something put in so they don't instantly attack again if you somehow make the save to live? Maybe the sanctuary spell that a god save used to give or something?

@Puffy said in Dot Commands:
.hrt - To kill yourself faster when stuck waiting to bleed out.
It is this, or waiting :)

I think you missed the point of my suggestion...
Yes. I am aware of the dot command.
I did wait.
The hostile killed me before I could even attack again or heal. If you are going to have a bleed out/stabilize feature then there needs to be something that gives you at least a moment to take care of yourself if you survive.

The recovery check is a way to stabilize assuming you are safe. The creature that was hostile and attacking you would not simple stop because you are incapacitated. Sometimes the creature has wandered off usually not.
The system is a qol to make it so creatures will not continue to attack someone after they are down.
So if you see a creature waiting to kill you use .hrt and die since that’s really what should have happened. If you are somehow safe go ahead and wait or not at your discretion

I would personally prefer you cant get back up unless healed, and the bleed out is just a way to give allies more time to heal you.
Trying to make it work the way that is suggested (which does make design sense) would be troublesome to say the least.
