Build Advice - Archer
-
@ArkhamWarlock:
Small caveat in Matriarch's advice with the rogue (all fine advice, by the way!) If you do multiclass with fighter to get Weapon Specialization, remember that you can ONLY get Weapon Specialization after having FOUR levels in Fighter.
Which is total BS if you ask me, but I didn't design the game, so meh.
But if you could take WS with only single level of fighter, a one level fighter dip would be a MUST for every character that relies on weapons to do damage. Plus there'd be even less incentive to take multiple fighter levels.
Back on topic: If you're not an experienced character builder, try an Arcane Archer. They're fairly powerful and really easy to get a grip on.

You know he's already made the archer, right? :P
-
Nope, i had no idea. :)

Yeah like halfway through page one, bro. xD
Awesome. We have an archer master thread now! It's why I kept quiet.

Here's a good one from EfU-history:
3 Bard / 4 Fighter / Arcane Archer
High AB, incredible damage, wands, UMD, good saves, Spellcraft…
Use the default bard song.
Or you can abuse the new PRC changes and be a level 1 bard / 10 AA. Like that'd ever get approved! Next thing you know you'll see a level 1 Barbarian / 10 RDD. That'd be stupidly powerful.

It was ranger1/RDD10 actually >.>
-
And yeah, getting PRC's from level 1 is insanely hard now. You cannot pre apply for PRCs, you have to earn them in game.
-
That character was initially scheduled to be a half dragon, but was "gimped" into the prc instead of taking the much more powerful race and cleric combination.

Way off topic now.

yeah it is
