Eveningstar's Bells rang calling to all who would answer the call of light. An unnatural fog was building within the Southorn. The din of the undead clamouring towards Eveningstar could be heard at a great distance. The Bishop raised the wards and we were asked to aid in this by adding 2 ritual sites within the town to set the ward. We succeeded in this and then took to the front lines to battle what undead staggered through. It was a long fight but we held. Until the Scarlets attacked within the town against the first ward. They escaped into the Southorn and we gave chase. The Horn was teeming with undead and it was an uphill battle the entire time. They had been creating undead unopposed for sometime to have such a wealth of numbers to set against us. Coming to the graveyard we encountered dark magics at play and cultists that were put to death for their crimes. But I could not remove the ritual completely. It was connected to a stronger source of Necromancy.
We pursued our foe deeper into the woods always surrounded by the evil hordes of undead and their necromancy. Exhausted and battered we fought through a temple of perversion. It was a warped and tainted replica of the Lathanderite shrine in the crypt near Arabel. It was at the end of this we faced the group of Scarlet led by Jack. We fought as hard as we could not willingly giving an inch to the foul necromancer and his party. We lost against his dark arts and were rendered incapacitated. We woke alive and I do not know why he let us live but when I came to High Dawnknight Myrkyr was overseeing us. We live by the blessings of Lathander to rise again in the Dawn stronger than before. But we do not kneel to the evils of the world even if it means death. The darkness won this battle but Lathander's promise holds it will not win the war.
