Ugh, this is my bad. Hans and I discussed this and I just never posted it. I had thought I did.
Jim and Tenebris (as far as I could tell) we’re enemies of one grove acting against it, using Pierre ( this was how I understood it) who then failed to actually retrieve the blood he needed?
This is my, “listening to conversations when PCs talk days later” viewpoint.
I was not actually involved in the event ;(
But druids can very well be rivals in how best to do things, that why you want an arch druid.
There is a fort of goblin warriors/warlords out there. Maybe a fun way to get the druids to engage other players to start. "hey guys, go kill these goblins for us and we'll reward you" or whatever.
either way, this is well earned.
Verk/Pierre is starting to (finally) outsource to his companions. Jenny Whitlock/Adam Whitlock and most recently, Barris (orin).
I want to reward this very un-verk like behavior as he includes others in his resolutions in the most positive re-enforcement way I can think of. Max rank in his faction.
He's also done numerous fun things including others, such as staging tons of events where everyone watches him pummel other players with his sword, and organizing patrols to apprehend criminals on the wanted lists and the like. He also reaches out OOC on behalf of his faction members (which I really appreciate) to help get them supported IG. He's doing great.
Most recently, he outsourced an important job rested on his shoulders (this caravan to Immersea from Tilverton) to his lesser Raven, Jenny Whitlock, who was in charge of the security of the mission. Mission went great.
Now he wants to create more player on player interaction as he tries to rip out the remaining Sembians who struck at him. It's just all plot, all the time with Verk and I like what he's doing with the DM attention he gets. He deserves a big nod.
If Verk can rip out the Sembian Merchants, creates fun intriguing conflict amongst the players, have Misrim replace the Gilded Scales in Immersea with Verk as the owner of the establishment. (landed knight in control of the misrim merchant office in immersea) Essentially make him an NPC. (maybe we give him a couple weeks IG to enjoy the privileges but we make it clear hes retiring as an NPC in Immersea, Tilverton representative)
Pierres' not a merchant, but Obyn could easily use him as a protector of his immersea affairs. Would also show some awesome development IG based on IC actions. Pierre is by far my favorite Cockroach of Chapter 2
I don't think this is a good fit. An order of purely Aasimar-blood focused knights is ... interesting conceptually ... But realistically there shouldn't be enough of such a rare creature in one place to actually accomplish this.
Sticking with my no, I agree with what Professor said.
(a reply to what I sent over a day ago)
can i get some additional details? How you intend to RP the subrace to represent the various flaws an aasimar might have in our world? also what you intend to do to create fun for other players with the subrace?
I was maybe thinking instead of going CG maybe go NG instead and have them join The House of the Morning and trying to starts a celestial blood unit of knights. Well he also struggles with people seeing him as a freak he will push himself to prove his with and protect the weak and defenseless showing the realm the greatness of the Morninglord. Try to play up his bravado will around the masses and his insecurities of being a planetouched when lone with those he truly trust. I can also see very special interaction with the ravens where they are also an elf planetouched Ashers.
After some careful discussion, the admin team has decided to leave this as is. We believe the inconvenience is minor for the small gap in levels, and in some cases is operating as intended. The debate sways more toward wizards likely needing more hours to rest at higher levels to depict the the need for more time dedicated to memorize harder spells, and less time at lower levels where sorcerers would simply need time to rest physically (which, in my own opinion, should vary as well to depict different levels of exhaustion in relation to remaining spells).
This would, to depict correctly, include lots of coding and new systems, and to then recheck currently working systems. We just don't have the spare time for that. I can barely kill Shark in a timely manner these days.
In short @Bowser we don't disagree, but its working fine right now, and would take too much time to resolve what is effectively a coffee-break between some quests at earlier levels
The romantic in me really likes that he was supported by our last well done spy, Kincaid, and mask has targetted that church to teach them a lesson. It’s honestly very thematic.
He also appears to be involving others, and trying to do something fun and original. Ballsy as heck to target our settings largest church.
This kind of stuff does happen in FR lore, evil priests sneaking into other clergies and stealing their flock, etc. we obviously aren’t there, I’m just saying there is s precedent for it in the lore.
I do agree, hasn’t earned official clergy, but could be recognized as Kincaids logical replacement.
cpt_elrad/Ardryll Stilmyst/ Aasimar Subrace**
1). Elf/Fighter, Ranger/CG/1,3/Ardryll Stilmyst
3). He will be an undead hunter and rely adventures to strike down undead menace.
4). His celestial blood always made hime feel like an outcast but motivated him to to prove himself a true hero. He has silvery eyes and hair.
FYI - Asked for more details on how they will RP the subrace and create fun for others.
