The Ultimatum from the King
-
The King has given us two choices.
-
Disband, and find service or pursue our causes in another matter. This is merciful and lenient of his person. We can choose to gather our banners elsewhere, or go our own path.
-
Prove our loyalty to the Kingdom and fight where the war is hardest on Griffin Hill. This will result in many of our deaths, as I doubt he will give us the ability to call for reinforcements. We might survive, we might all die.
The choice is yours.

What happens if we can't all agree?

Majority rules.

If aspirants get a say, then Kepli chooses to disband.
So do I.
We can do good each our way. Some of you might band together in secret. Some leave.
I'm staying here for my kin.

There is a fine line between foolishness and courage. Showing our loyalty in this way will be the end of us. I would likely still go there. But if I do, I do it on my own terms. Not his. I am not going to die for a man who cannot see the value of what we did.
I propose we disband. At least officially. Change the pin to something else. And then work from the shadow instead.

I should let it be said-
The King still wants those responsible for the theft to experience extra punishment.
So far, only Glendur confessed.
If the rest of you keep your mouths shut, maybe you can slip underneath their notice.

At least one of us was spotted at Hillmarch. They will figure out who the rest were I am sure.So unless Archer can convince us otherwise, it is over? We just pack up our things and go our separate ways? And leave Archer to fend for himself?
This feels like a sour ending to what would have been a glorious tale.Esvele

You are free to do as you wish, and stand beside Archer in whatever punishment the King sees fit.
It'd make a fine tale.

@SpiffyMeister
Winters,
You have spoken with the courts. Does he intent to have Archer executed? I am not eager to die. But at the same time, I am feeling rather uncomfortable with letting one of our own, suffer his fate alone.Esvele

@SpiffyMeister @Puffy
I have given it some thought. If we cast aside our believes now, simply because the odds in our favor, then we are going back to precisely the way we used to do things.
Lord Misrim the damnable bastard is using vampires, devils and worse, to line his walls. How is that NOT a fight we need to take? How is that NOT a place where, the damned King or not, we should be at the very forefront of battle? So instead of going there, like convicted prisoners on our way to the noose, we call out. We rally every gods damned goodly soul in the entire country.
We make a call so damned loud, that Myrkyr will leave his Haunted Halls and join us. One chance. One last gamble. One final attempt to show Arabel, the entire Arabel, that there are still good hearted people here, willing to do what is right, regardless of the odds?
So we call. We light a damned beacon in Collinwood. He said we were to march there. He did not specify that we could not pick up more members before we do. So we lead the charge. And have every veteran, sulking in the shadows of the local tavern join us.
If we survive, Fellows, then we will will never stand alone again. A single vampire, or devil on that wall, should have been enough for us to do this at any rate. So I say yes. We march. And we show King Farking Kingsley that he made the biggest mistake of his life, by letting us do so.

If by my actions i can spare some of the lives of our poorly equiped troops I will take the fight to Tilverton, if that is my destiny.
I would hope that we might rally troops to march beside us as Estele suggests, but i can only lead by example not by directing men to their deaths.
Should i find a way to strike at their elites or Obyn himself then i will take that route, be it sanctioned by this comand or not. Their spies here in the city will undoubtably have Tilverton expecting the announced action from the King, i would give them some surprise before then if i can.

Screw this. I'll teach em all halfling fury. Or I'll die trying.
I'm in. Lets kick some infernals back to the Nine Hells and kill for good some deaders.
Lets call allies. Lets do this.My kin had convinced me to disband. I know where their heart comes from. We are not a waring people. We protect our own. But I need to listen to my own fury.
May Arvoreen guide our blades.
