I have in writing a signed confession from Dame Fyevarra admitting the murder of Mikal, Priest of Sune and her former retainer.
I request a warrant for her arrest on the Capital charge of murder.
I also wish to forward a request to the Council of Peers that an exception to the usual commutation of severity be made and that the charge remains Capital in this instance due to the apparently purposeful nature of the crime and the brutality in which it was reportedly carried out.
She had one common born accomplice by the name of Nix and we will be pursuing her as well.

She may remain within the city while we ascertain a date for trial unless she admits guilt. Then we can move straight to sentencing.

Esteemed Count and Courtier,
I would like to request an addendum to be included with this warrant at the trial. Based on the sendings that, I believe, have been documented by both the guard and the Palace, the reputed victim of this crime is to be posthumously charged with three separate counts of the Capital Crime of Treason.

One charge of Treason against the Realm, for threatening to reveal information crucial to the defense of this realm to our enemies.

One charge of Treason against our Queen, by attempting to tarnish her public image despite explicit and immediate orders to desist.

One charge of Treason against our King and his consort, with the main evidence likewise proven and disclosed by the operators of the sending network.
In addition to this, in my assessment already rather damning evidence, myself as well as others will be willing to attest to the foul and incorrigible character of this impotent traitor. There have thus been several occasions where he has revealed his inability to desist from spouting his vile venom.

-Treason- The Act of Aiding the Enemies of Arabel, and its Leader, or its People. Concealing the actions of foreign agents, their locations, or otherwise siding with opposing national powers over Kingdom of Arabel
Treason is when you work with foreign agents or threaten the stability of the nation as a whole through your actions through willful and intentional actions. Otherwise, every man and woman in the Murdered Manticore is subject to treason against the nation for bad mouthing the King and Queen.
At best, Slander is appropriate. Last I checked, we don't kill people for Slander outside of duels.

The ramblings of a moontouched man does not warrant enough to support treason charges, the false accusations were harmless in their nature even if slanderous. To allegedly kill a man for spreading falsehood, without trial nor lawful procedure, would be murder and serve only to support the victim's outlandish claims.
