Gathering Grain

Oi berks,
Two bods, Wheeze and Mere, sought us out for a job to feed the poor bods in this anthill. Mundane, but gave a gad of jink up front. 5000 jinx now, 5000 once done.
They want one tonne of food. Any food. Delivered to a drop in the sewers.
The drop's a broken pipe that drops down into a chest. Can be found on in the south-west on the winding tunnel to Calanter's Way.
If you're small enough you can squeeze in and drop it in the chest. Otherwise just drop it in and they'll find it. ((Screenshot))No time limit, but they got eyes on us to know if we're working.
They have asked hunters, druids and farmers too, so we're competing. If we do it, they'll pay for another tonne. Good source of jink if we're running low as a company.
Speaking of, if you're helping collect it say now and I'll split the advance pay.Nix

Which broken pipe in the sewers? I'm pretty sure I've seen several. Is it a specific one?
-
It's the big upright one in the pathway that leads to Calanter's Way. If a bod enters the sewers from outside the south gate, they'll walk right pas it.
((It's the big pipe placeable coming out of the floor. Can screenshot tomorrow if that helps.))

Mule and I made a delivery. Sounds like they really do got the merts to pay for this, which means...
We gotta go bigger. This is serious
jinkmertsbars. Enough to keep our bods funded 'til we give the lemons the laugh.
Us bashers aren't here long, so scar the consequences. Let's bob the cony King of his next grain shipment 'n' funnel it into the boneboxes of this anthill's poor berks.I got a couple tags of some canny cutters that'll be up for the ride. The very same that gave the pinchers the fright with a show of force.
Any of you in on this heist or is a bod being left solo?Nix

Not sure it's a fantastic idea to rob a Primer king when we don't even have a place to lie low.
Biter.
-
You got a point, Biter. So I won't take the advance pay. Still nice to have a rig ready for when the bashers are.

Met with Mere couple ticks ago.
Showed me 40 bars. Promised more if the ride goes well.
I set expectations. Not happening til we got a safehouse.

@miss_behaviour
When did we become a thieves guild, working for gold, without a Care for who pays us, and for what aims?Did I miss the note somewhere? I am not robbing a King, as long as I am stuck in his realm without a way out. At least not without a better reason than Gold.
It seems most jobs (the book too), are stealing jobs, Nix. Count me out, without a better cause than gold. I find this idiocy and beneath us.

Grain's going to the poor. That's why I wanna do it. Better that it's coming from a high-up.
Jink's useful. We'll need it while we're hipped for our lodging, paying for whispers and for external help. Any we don't melt here'll get us back on our feet in the Cage.Reason why the jobs is for bobbing berks is bodies recognise we don't have to worry much about the consequences if we're giving this plane the laugh. We do the clean jobs that the competition can't. A unique opportunity.
The book is because I'm open to the Deliverence puppets. They're ful sketchy and that book don't belong in the hands of clueless lemons.
The body that wants it is Nela. A Wildwalker. Can trust them with that kinda stuff and it gets us an in with the druids if we gotta talk to them about volcanoes. Which means you don't have to talk to Esme any more.Nix

Stealing the book for the druids to help us is a worthwhile trade.
