Wands - Charges & Weight

Is there any way to "stack" wands like we do with potions and arrows? So you can have one wand with 20, 40, 60 charges etc?
Also each wand weighs 1lb, which seems heavy given a throwing axe is now 0.3lb I believe.

To elaborate, wands are already epic items to have.
Stacking, wouldn't work due to charges.
You could "merge" wands up to 50 then split out the remainder, but that causes other issues (some wands can have special variables on them and stuff)
1lb weight does seem a lot, but it's fine, because they are damn good.

@greenlung You can already have wands with various amounts of charges when making them, you can set the charge amount from like 1-50
