To whom it may concern,

I quill this letter as an introduction. My name is Gareth Tylel, an arcanist at large. Though my family departed Arabel when I was but a young boy, my early years here have remained a special memory. Though my research and search for the Codex of the Lanceboard Strategem is the reason I have returned, in the short time within the kingdom, I have been made aware of some of the trials facing the land. It is with a desire to serve the people that I submit my candidacy for the council.

I have had the benefit of private tutoring befitting the son of a minor noble house and have travelled extensively to complete my arcane apprenticeship.
