Need some help

As you know, I've rebuilt the Elf Faction after its original group ran off to join a bandwagon. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I can no longer stay up to 6am to party with my peeps, I can't run the elf faction any longer.
Unfortunately, none of the existing elves are of leadership material. Many are new to the server and do not desire to lead. Castle Crag resulted in 4 PvP deaths, three of whom whitelighted, including all leadership elves. I am issuing an open call for people interested in elves to make one. Someone will take over as elf faction leader, as I step down because of my new business contract in RL.
I can still play, and I can still do stuff, but I won't be active enough to justify being a faction leader, RL commitments and paying bills overweigh everything else.

I can see how you are leading a faction, all that natural charisma must draw many people to you.

Dang Deadlock, say something nice for a change.

youfed

It might be time to bring the whole faction on a event that leads to their complete demise. Like, hunting drow, Elves love killing each other.
-
It might be time to let one of those players "not fit for leadership" give it a try. Really, if one of them wants to step up and try, who are you to stop them by OOC recruitment?

I don't think racial factions work at all.

Kreyla (and by default anyone who reads this post…)
I feel you are upset about the PM I sent you with regards to a request to be be removed from the faction access list.
To those that dont know, I was one of the players who had a character killed during the assault (Cu-Sith). I am curently working on another character - an elf - within Arabel just to see where things lead for him. Would I like to join the elven faction? Of course.
However, to claim membership to the faction for the new character (and thus access to faction specific information) due to my previous character's membership status would seem disengenuous.
I dont understand your comment about bandwagon jumping, etc... the people that died on the assault were loyal players to the faction, to the bitter end. They could be again with time - so chill, enjoy the game.

Yours was the only one that worked, dear. Don't worry about being upstaged anytime soon. My Red Hart wanted to have your elf's babies, just so you know, you were that good.

No, its true, its why DMs don't like them generally.

lol

Damn nay sayers

Racial factions are best taken in a shot glass.

No one cool likes elves…//end thread

DMs don't dislike factions built around races just to be clear. What we dislike is when the whole point of the faction is being "elf" or being "dwarf".
A faction of elves that forms to pursue a serious goal and story is cool beans.

Take back the Eldath Pool from the lycans! Now that's a serious story I can get behind and support! (as a lycan, though…not an elf.)

I noted that, Moloch, and thats why I've taken pains to open up the Vestavakhar to include non-elves. Fyananamoac is the first, and as we find druids and rangers and other sorts willing to help out, they'll be brought in too.
Salchichero, its not about you mate. That stuff happened 1 month before you joined up!

Well, for what it is worth - I am still very interested in your faction, you have done a great JOB with it. Don't give up on it - you have the support of many players.

Just so you guys know, I haven't disappeared. I play maybe 1-2 hours in the aussie afternoon, which is around 3am US, 7am UK.
