Of Courage and Competence

We still do get people in their early teens on occasion. I know of at least 2 of them playing right now.
-
@Undead:
You need to stop questing with Verkosh imo.
How do you think Lyss was REALLY defeated?
All that Tymora stuff was a cover story.

As far as I have seen, there are a few points made that clear this up.
A) They may not be mechanically built. (Maybe an RP build)
B) It is -your- decision to quest with them.
C) Not everyone may be playing a brave sacrifice all character. I know I played a few characters that would chicken out at take off. I had one who volunteered to fight a big ol monster, it popped up he invised and left them for dead.
D) RP IT OUT! -
Worth mentioning that some people can hit lag blocks just when the action hits, so might rely on pew-pewing until they can get their bearings.
My rig can run crysis on high res easily, but NwN seems to make it choke up at times.

Its not NWN, its CoA thats the problem. My computer dies sometimes when large amounts of baddies hit the screen and I get a latency of 10 seconds or so. All other serves I've been to, as well as offline plays just fine regardless.

On that note, visits the how to support forum…

Handle it IC, simply put. No need to stress out on the forums about it, especially if the people your talking about might get offended.
If a character does something your character thinks is stupid, shout at them, beat them up, throw rotten tomatoes at them, put a curse on them, steal their armour and force them to fight the boss alone.

Seems like a solid tactic to me, stand at the back and wait for other people to die

@Sarah:
…it's seriously dissheartening to loose 4 levels in a single night and then the next day be almost killed 3 times because 60 HP frontliner is standing behind you throwing axes. . .
I was the 60 HP frontliner you are talking about if your referring to the Gilmore quest we did yesterday. FYI my PC was a 4th lvl barbarian with 17 AC (19 AC with shield and sword) and my 1st barbarian ever. My plan was to throw axes initially till the foe was engaged and then rush in with my greataxe. Sometimes in tight quarters I'm not able to rush past my own party. I know I still have a lot to learn playng a barb, sorry if I contributed to your grief.

Where's the love man?
-
When in doubt, I always turn to Elton John.
-
Don't worry, William's coming ba- awww. D;
-
Is he, really? Really?
-
Depends if the DM's can magically bring my character vault back. All characters I ever made either online or offline have dissapeared. >>

Yes! Scott Keelip's player! Welcome back.
In response to the topic…find awesome people, quest with friends, and -definitely- make sure the party's main fighter will not run away. Secondary fighters...on the other hand.. :twisted:
