Tymora's dead..Now what?
-
Some recent postings on the forum here has gotten me riled up and I'm in the mood for some good discussions or debates. With the recent actions what does the future hold? Arabel was blessed by a goddess, without her, what worse things will befall upon this city? Will this throw into play a giant power hungry grab of the gods!? Discuss. :)

It was all just a dream.

Tymora is being replaced by a CoA specific deity called Lorvys.
I thought that was pretty much well known.
-
is already replaced? I'd be glad to see a fight for portfolios. Reading the realms wiki I always wondered how a god overtakes a dead ones portfolio, I expected to see an 'example'.

BG is the one having a dream

Avenge her by killing those most responsible for her death?

We should learn from Amber Steel and PRAISE TORM!

@verkosh:

Fix't

Clearly Tymora never existed to begin with. The entire Material Plane, its gods, and its people are all figments of Lyss' imagination as she floats around in the Rift.
You don't really exist, you only think you exist because Lyss thinks that you think you exist.
Anyone who's paid any attention could tell you that.

Cogito ergo sum.

Cool plot twists :)

Ludo ergo sum!

I'd say we whorship Besheba now, because she is/was Tymora's sister.
Praise Her!
builds statues of Besheba

But Beshaba's priests also are obtaining no spells.

Musa acuminata

I'm impressed by the DMs willing to deviate this much away from canon. Shows to go what can happen in CoA

Lets kill Ilmater next, he's too emo for my taste.

Its always possible Tymora is not dead. Perhaps her avatar was killed and she is therefor banished from the prime plane for one year. She might come back and be either really happy or really pissed about what happened to HER city while she was gone. She could also be trapped in the rift or any number of other things. When you are talking about a goddess what you think you saw may not be the whole story.

Unless Tymora does what Bane did.
