Sexy New Eveningstar

Like the PD enclave. Sexy sexy Cormyr-land. Me likey. :D
Constructive feedback to be delivered after closer inspection. -
I'd like to see thunderway and thunderholme get a make over. Thunderholm…feels dry, dull, boring. I feel like it needs a facelift as all the rest of the work is just out of this world!. that and it's a REALLY old region...

The jumps are brilliant!
-
We will slowly get around too putting in some tracks at the edge of the treelines so the druids can by-pass the roads, and more jumps over the water will be added as we go.
There is already a few in there. -
Technically this belongs in "bug reports", but I figured at this stage of development it might be more manageable to post it here. Let me know if I figured wrong.
Anyway: the fishing spot nearest to the city gates has a strange and disturbing description.
-
during the day they are absolutely brilliant, a really good rural feel to the place and the road east. Particularly like the waterwheel!
but once the sun sets…
my darkvision helm wearing ranger, man of the wilds that he is, cant see enough to see the cobbles of the roads he stands on!
i had to carry my torch to walk back to the city so that i didnt stray from the road, and even then i walked into trees i couldnt see!
is it possible to bring the light levels up at all.
gamma adjustment on my computer is not really an option as the city is glaring with the overide as it is.

Get rid of the over ride.. it's crap any way ;)
Seriously though, night is dark. I do fine with my test characters. It's hard on a human but a character with dark vision/low light vision does just fine.. If it's a real problem, then get some utravision pots/wand.
Oh! I made an unused spell needed!

I have darkvision on an item, I think it's bugged, it still remains pitch black. Not sure how that works out. I agree the night should be that dark, though. No street lamps in ancient rural settings!
-
same here, i have 2 separate darkvision items. neither aids me at all on the new maps.
Dont know if the map has the bug or the helm.
-
I made night a little darker by adjusting the fog colour. Darkvision helm works on my end, so I don't know why it's not for you.
-
Darkvision items are buggy, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.
-
This thread is getting hot.

Obviously voted for 'better than sex'. 8)

I think the barracks, inn, and temple could do with some outdoor lighting at night, as points of interest. Plus, screw the setting: we have flamethrowers, ASIMO-caliber robotics summons, refrigeration, voice filters, etc. Oh, and magic.

Got completely lost on the "High Road: West," and ended up having to turn on my minimap to get out. Unfortunately, I though the exit was north-south (my brain died or something), instead of east-west, and I got more lost-ed :(
Sad Panda
Still, even the sad panda likes bamboo, and I'm pretty sure those houses are made of bamboo. They looked delicious.

Little suggestion for Eveningstar, since it's been done for the western stream already - the eastern stream can still only be crossed by the bridge and a swim/jump someplace that doesn't involve walking right past the stag watchman would be nice.
But I do like what's been put in at the other end!

I'm sure I put a crossing in right down the end..
-
If it's right at the end then I might have missed it, as I only checked one end to the edge.
