Within the Hullack there is a lycan, submerged in darkness, a beast that i have dreamed of.
Today Sapphire and Adrain hunted with me within the forest. We were the hunter but i fear that we were to becoem the rpey, such was the ferocity of the pack that faced us.
We survived driving these hounds and their dark tendrils away, i am merely glad that there was only one lycan amongst them and that it sort to play with its food. Next time we may not be so fortunate.
Suffice to say that i shall gather the aid that i can and pursue this beast, for it must be felled and the taint lfited.

As i travelled within the Hullack the beasts pack stalked me, thjey hunt ever closer to the city it seems.
I managed to gatehr a group and we sought to chase the pack off, forcing it to move deeper into the forest. What we found was a den dug fairly close to the Hullack gate, populated fully by these black tendrilled hounds.
I find myself thankful that we have only faced Wraithowl himself and not a full pack of lycans, it does not bode well for the future i suspect but we are commited to this course - ridding the forest of this dark hunter.
Suffice to say that i will endeavour to keep an eye on the forest, there is more within that i would uncover and this beast is a hinderance to those aims also.

Make sure to get good supplies! These things pack a punch. And I'm the tough one here. Did they show up during the day, Archer?
Might be there's a bunch of these dens around. We'll have to find them and kill all of these things. Or get our hands on Wraithhowl, maybe he's the one making those things?

My worry is that there seems to be no other lycans seen so far, if these wolves are the worst we are facing then i would say i am pleased...

The exact location was the tunnels under Eveningstar, I was showing the new guy Arden that Golden Armour we're trying to figure out. After we left the chamber the wolves atttacked us in a small, but perfectly dangrous, pack.
I recovered the remains of there Alpha, no hide like before, but maybe Lady Winters or another of the Fellowship more magical minded members can gleem something of worth from the remains?

Nothing to be learned from the remains. Magical? Undoubtedly. Beyond that I cannot say.
