Recommended Overrides - Optional

Bumping up.
Some nice stuff in here.Highly recommended.

Looks great – who needs haks? The undead ones are particularly creepy. When 1.69 and the new tilesets finally arrive, CoA will have a whole new gothic feel in particular areas. :D
Since these are optional, I just hope these are purely cosmetic changes and the assumption is that creatures still look like the original Bioware models should players make references to them IC. Asking your party to 'kill the goblin in the red hood' seems like it should be a no-no, because of the inevitable confusion something like that would bring.

are all/any of these overrides being added to the the 1.69 patch?
-
None. They are community made.
-
so would it be possible to have them all accumulated in the one place i.e. the header post of this thread and stickied so all the links are easy to find?
-
Good idea.
I'll clean this up and compile a list later. -
I'm also trying to figure out if any of these in this thread clash or conflict with each other and are gonna cause crashing?
If anyone knows the ones that do maybe a note could be added to Strawman's list to help prevent problems.
Beware: I just spent all afternoon playing around with overides.
The Aenea Player world GUI thingy overides, although they do some cool stuff they also completely overhaul the game. You end up with all sorts of things being different colours than they were originally. In some places it's cool but in others it's just annoying.
Because of the simple fact the health bar was blue and green (where health had been lost) rather than red and black (where health had been lost) I decided I didn't want that part of the overides. It also seems like a lot of other parts of the game have been re-skinned just cos they could be and not cos it makes things easier to use or look better. I weighed up the good and the bad and decided to remove all the overides becuase there was no way of telling which ones were affecting what I liked and didn't like.
I'm on my 5th attempt at re-installing NWN now. It's completely shafted the game somehow.
I cleaned registry entries, start menus, prefetches, took off custom content and anything at all related to NWN and everything. It's like windows has been attacked with a virus, when I deleted the overides, that won't let me have NWN without them ever again.

@Parasatic:
This seems to be in popular demand and will allow you to choose any Portrait ever used in the NWN Game. As well as voicesets. (Animals, NPCs, Randomness)
Drop the .2da's in the Override Folder, tis all.
Perhaps a DM could sticky this?

Any chance of these being collated and put as a big list at the top of this post? would be a whole lot easier than going through trying to find all the links.

The hit point bar is terrible.
and what is with the horrible purple and hideous green hues on everything, why is it all like some sixties acid trip?
gross.
Transparency stuff is ok, any way I can JUST get the transparency?
