Case File: Mirai al Tyr [locked box in Elsa‘s drawer]
-
To whomever might find this in the event of my untimely death:
I strongly suspect the supposed „Tyrran“ priestess by the name of „Jasda Mirai al Tyr“ to be colluding with the were-rat monsters that seek to destroy this city and the crown.
Evidence item #1:
She appears to have been in repeated contact with the were-rats, and confesses to have met with them in their human form, providing a description. Ask her about these meetings and non-violent contacts (sharply contrasting with mine).Evidence item #2:
The rats call to her in just the way that they have me, when they believed me to be working for them. Instead of the „cook lady“, they call her the „church lady“, calling her for secret meetings into the sewers.Evidence item #3:
She has been contriving intentionally faulty plans to „address the rat problem“, wherein she intends to lure away all those who would be most capable to fighting them as far away from the city as possible. She is collecting their feces and appears to be taking part in some of their rituals. Claiming to wish to disrupt them, but failing to provide any proof. She further intends to use a faulty summoning book that will summon some unrelated vermin rather than the were-rats in question. She only responds with callousness and hate when such flaws in her reasoning are pointed out to her.Evidence item #4:
She has been actively sabotaging the leadership of the Illuminated Blade, a known master silversmith, with the aim of alienating her from the Crown and the realm; ignoring the true reasons why Fye had to act in the way she did.Evidence item #5:
She has pre-judged several pieces of damning evidence concerning Captain Farmerson. It is her expressly stated intention to leverage this knowledge against House Axehand. I strongly suspect that she is using these files to blackmail him, in order to gain standing in the Crown Guard. I further attest that she has been blackmailing me in just such a manner.Evidence item #6:
She has been doing her utmost to sabotage my own efforts to combat the were-rat threat, including still further blackmail in the form of undisclosed charges, while now offering me money for handing in my resignation. This can be proven by her recent correspondence with me. While this offer of coin would appear to suggest she is concealing some minor fine, I believe her mind to be devious enough to try to conceal a much greater fabricated charge just so that she might say that "it had been offered". Alas, she refused to answer any questions on this matter.Evidence item #7:
In my conversation and exchanges with her, it has become clear that she is thinking just like the rats, valuing human pain and death much lower than the prospect of rats being eaten to lure in their leaders. Likely, that had been part of the deal she has made with them when meeting and speaking with them in person. An example for this is provided by her agreement to take human death in stride for an experiment, as long as they are codified, whereas the not even all that outlandish notion of cooking and eating some rats, to get at their leaders, fills her with nothing but blunt disdain. I have tried, at length, to take a more rational approach - yet she was unwilling to even truly consider it.Evidence item #8:
She claims to be working towards the Tyrran aim of retribution but denies me, who would have an infinitely stronger claim on retribution, the exact same thing. I hope that proof for this may be revealed, in time, through her god ceasing to grant her those powers. Alas, this will likely be too late. As for now, all she seems to care about is her own personal retribution, and getting back at all those she dislikes.I expect her to soon murder me through „legal“ means, on the basis of fabricated or circumstantial evidence. It is even possible that she might believe such to be true, as the rats appear to have some kind of hold over her. Let my demise be the final proof of the veracity of these charges.

//Is this meant to be available to the NPCs or?
-
//someone who looks into her drawer would certainly find it. But it is not a letter that is being sent to anyone, just a Special Case File that she has been working on.

[As Jasda was explicitly informed of this box by Elsa, she goes into her desk, takes it out, and possibly thinks for a few moments before simply tossing it in the garbage, as requested.]
