Recommended Overrides - Optional

Maybe because I started playing once the 1.68 patch had already come out, but I gotta say, I tryied the original running animation and hated it. Felt like my character was skipping about instead of running :( Good thing it wasn't on my main computer.

There are a few things I would like to see the DMs implement, purely to add some variety for players. More custom tailoring options for clothing and a nice head model pack to expand the existing range. I would love my character who had waist length hair to show waist length hair. There was another server I checked out when I first started here on CoA it was Cormyr and the Dalelands, while I didn't really like the zone setups I did enjoy the wide variety of clothing models they had added, from oriental styles kimo's, dresses, more fancy swashbuckler clothing, armored skirts, to hip high boots. Of course there were a few options that I thought could be left out and were far more adult oriented than I would like to see.
Just curious if the DMs ever thought about these things or if I'm just kicking a dead mule.

Pretty much.
Such extravagances require a custom content pack/hak.
And well, that isn't forthcoming. -
These skeletons are also impressive:
-
btw. Thanks for the initial post! the ghouls have been a TREMENDOUS addition to my gameplay. Hope the skelies do likewise!
-
I just tried out the ghouls override and man they look great. So much better then the ones now that look like guys in spandex unitards chasing you around.

Parners has never looked better

Very nice.. One override I'd never be without is this: http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Mo ... ail&id=124
You get proper hands! Sadly, the fat models still have rock-like hands, but still worth it!

Oh.. Opps.
Crawls back into the dark corner.

Don't have links for them, but there's some nifty ogres and werewolves on the vault somewhere, too.
-
Bumping up.
As some updates have been made to the bony horrors over here. -
Any good graphic enhancements?
-
I dont know how I feel about the vampires yet, but I love the skeletons.

What I'm posting is hardly new. Only something I found when doing a search for this thread. I'm not sure what's outdated from old patches, or what is still good, but it seemed like a decent add to this thread.
A word of warning. There are some excellent over-rides in this thread. There are also quite a few of the less "mature" ones; or perhaps the problem is… the are too "mature."
Anyway. Here:

Does anyone know a good weapon override? Make them look more realistic.

Bowstrings!
Original Running Animations
Cave CeilingsHope you enjoy these as much as I do
I never liked the 'new' running animations until playing a really big half-orc. :D

A nice goblin one that hasn't been linked yet:

(Edit: Unfortunately there's a problem with one of the goblin-elite models where the weapon doesn't show, for some reason and coa uses that model a lot.)
So for the creatures you have:
This Interior Tileset Override one looks pretty sweet too. Looks like the new tileset they're releasing in the 1.69 patch.
Only problem with using overrides is you can't really coment on colours or other ways the creatures look like, since people won't all see them the same! So only use them if you're willing to accept that.
