1). Human Aasimar/Sorcerer Monk/LE/-/Treth Mistrap
2). Applying for Aasimar Subrace, background item (amulet) and membership of the Order of Dark Moon Monks of Shar
3). A general outline of goals, plans, or storylines to pursueCharacter Background:
Youngest son of a large merchant family in Perskul, Amn. Celestial blood of a planetar ran through his mother’s side of the family. Treth was the first to show any signs in two generations.
The resurgence of the family celestial bloodline in him resulted in feeling isolated, looked upon with suspicion by his own siblings. Treth frequented the seedier social circles of the upper class until he was befriended by Derin Maelborn, a recruiter for the Church of Shar. Derin was eager to earn favour within the Chruch by bringing a celestial touched to Shars worship
Subverted to Shar’s faith by fostering his bitterness from standing to inherit little of his family’s fortunes. His natural talents gained him the attention of the order of Dark Moon, their training developing his sorcery and focusing his mind and body.
His “graduation” task was to bring ruin to his family; faked his own death crushing his mother with grief, before handing copies of his family’s business ledgers to unscrupulous competitors and the Shadow Thieves. Mistrap Mercantile was no more before the month was out, with his father and siblings either dead or imprisoned for various improprieties.
Given an amulet by his master, a piece of purple jaspar sandwiched between two pieces of onyx on a tarnished adamantium. The gems a reminder of his life rededicated to the Nightsinger and the chain as unyielding as his vows, to repress his inner light (possibly with uses /day of Shadow Conjuration & Aura of Shadows).
Portrayal of subrace character:
Treth will be portrayed as taciturn and self-confident, rarely speaking or acting in a rash manner. The teachings of Shar and the gift from his Master help him focus and suppress the impulses of his blood. My aim for him is to make measured and considered plans. Behind the polite façade he will be a practiced liar (SF Bluff to make up some for lack of skill points), seeking to manipulate the trust of individuals and groups to learn secrets which can be used to achieve his goals. He is eager to further prove himself to the Order and prove that one who embraces the nothingness of the void, has nothing to hold them back.
Despite all his monastic training Treth is still prone to lapses; he harbors a distaste for ignorant and small-minded people’s view of things beyond their ability to understand; the same way his siblings treated him as a child. This can lead to a break in his composure, lashing out verbally or physically at the source of his irritation if they cannot be reasoned with quickly.
Description:
Treth stands a little over 6 and a half foot tall. His smooth pale skin adorned with tattoos which frame pupilless eyes that glow a dull emerald hue, brightening at times when emotions threaten to break his composure (Eye VFX please).
Plans/ goals:
Join a faction with a view to sow discord amongst various groups in the region and bring grief to the people of Arabel. Pass some information to one faction about the other, whilst informing the first some of what the second plans. Always trying to keep back some secrets for him and Shar alone.
Look for lost artifacts of a dead Shadow Adept, Cedrin D’Rasca, in the Haunted Halls and other dungeons, claiming them in Shar’s name. Use their power to further twist the damaged portions of the weave around the Helmlands, weakening Mystra’s influence.
Undermine those that would deny Shar and that darkness and loss are true path to enlightenment and power. Targets would include House of the Morning and Selunites in Immersea (if there is any still there).
Search for powerful entities of Darkness/ shadow to make a pact with to gain power beyond that of his own bloodline.

I don't this quite hold up for evil aasimar, since its pretty rare. But, I am voting yes for amulet and membership of the Dark Moon.
