[A clerk, excited to get the attention of a councilor despite the circumstance of his mistake. The penmanship shows that of great care and excitement, on his small desk is a figurine of a famous adventurer he adores, carved from wood.. By his hand... ]
An honest mistake councilor! Please accept my -deepest- apologies, the long and lasting hours of my work must have got the best of me! So diligently striking with the paper and quill as it were! Not so different from slaying those nasty beasts like a true adventurer! We are a lot alike you and I, well.. If not for the fancy blood!
Maybe we could go on an adventure sometime! Wouldn't that be fun!? Something grandiose where our names will be carved into the fabrics of history! I hear of a wizard with a residence overrun by the RAT KING and his minions! Never trust rat... Could not be a rat!
[Dennis continues to look at
the wooden figurine, imagining what could be. A clerk turned to a hero, a dream he often romanticizes]
