Statue: Sir Auglor "The Youthful" Truesilver
Known for his courageous actions at sea against the renown pirate "Magrath the Minotaur" in the year 432DR, Auglor Truesilver was a devout follower of the Morninglord. He is depicted here as a young man at battle in full armor and broadsword, though those educated in history remember Sir Auglor Truesilver was already twice the age of retirement when he re-donned his armor of the Order of Aster, charted a ship, and hunted down Magraths' fleet on his own.
Perhaps the most important lesson to be learned by any aspirant of the Order, none truly retire. When faced with the relentless storm a true knight takes up his blade and joins the fight.
This statue was one of the oldest in Cormyr prior to Gondegals Purge, where it was gifted by the remnants of the Truesilver line to the House of the Morning, a last desperate act to preserve their families' memory before fading into history.

Statue: Lord Commander, Dame Lonella Bladesong
This statue depicts a hardened warrior in brilliant golden and orange armor with sun-burned skin and gorgeous flowing hair. She seems to be charging head first into battle against some unseen enemy.
Throughout the Order of Aster there are several stories of famous battles of victory and defeat. Though none compare to what Dame Bladesong faced in the year 1136DR when the Dracolich Umbralax rose up from the shadows of Faerun. It is one of the few times in history when the entirety of the Oder of Aster came together to face a singular enemy, all under the famous Lord Commander, Dame Lonella Bladesong. She is said to wave wielded Lathander Himself as a weapon against the myriad of horrors engaged that fateful day, and fell at the feet of "The Great Shadow," Umbralax, after striking the killing blow.
Yet another lesson to those aspiring to join the ranks of the Order of Aster, a reminder that a Dawnknights purpose demands sacrifice. Historical records say that the Order of Aster lost more than half their number in the battle of Hespheira.

Statue: The Faceless Light
The statue before you is of a faceless Dawnbringer in the service of the Morninglord. It is a common statue found in most shrines or temples of Lathander which is known historically as "The Year of Lathanders Light."
In 1024DR, a Dawnbringer raised a private company of heroes to defeat a long forgotten threat. It is said the order of Aster sent one lone knight to join the Dawnbringer to keep him safe on his crusade against the darkness. The pair travelled for twenty years together forging a bond of friendship and comradery known only to brothers and sisters in arms. The pair, whos names are forgotten by history, were a Light against the Darkness for the age of Lathanders Light, bringing his good will and safety where ever they travelled.
In 1045DR, the pair were engaged by an old enemy of the Light in the streets of Waterdeep. The Dawnknight, ever vigilant of his duty, in a last act of heroism gave his life for his charge, the Dawnbringer. It is said he battled for many hours against his foes, and after taking a third arrow, fell to a knee, asking his enemy for but a moments rest before they continue to trade blows.
