      I suggest this change to bardsong duration. If possible, make this not apply to curse song, but if it is impossible to seperate the two, then i suggest it regardless. This will make lingering song a very good feat instead of being mandatory to the already feat starved bard class.

        I like this. We would have to discuss the math as a team though.

        I extra round for each level over 5 make perfect sense and is a nice little perk.

        Lvl 6 “average” bard that has invested in performance needs 12 skill total to achieve lvl 6 song benefits.

        would get 4 or 5 extra rounds

        • skill ranks- 9
        • Cha 12-14 - 1-2
        • Item/Feat 2-6 (call it 4 for average)

        Lvl 8 “average” bard that has invested in performance needs 15 skill total to achieve lvl 8 song benefits

        Would get 6 extra rounds.
        Skill ranks- 11
        Cha 16- 3 (Magic items, eagles splendor, lvl up etc)
        Item/fear 2-6 ( call it 4 for average)

        Pure class bard only and I am sold. We can adjust the performance up or down from per 3 as needed.

        All this assumes:

        • scripting is possible @Strife-and-Discord
        • the team agrees
        • we would get to it when we can so prepare to be patient

          Yes, i would NOT want this for anything but pure class personally, way too open to multiclassing benefits that way.

            Hash out a clear writeup and agree on it and I will script it.
            Mind that if it becomes complex I can still do it but it will take abit more time as I am focused on a bigger system.

                I'll put together exactly what it should be with all the parameters and exclusions needed on the DM forum. Need to have a team discussion for this stuff.

                Also, I just realized the when we first talked the we would want to exclude this from Curse Bard songs. Something I forgot to include in my original "this is a fine idea" post.

                I'll close this topic off now and re-open the convo for the Team.
