What timezone do you play in? GMT(EU) mostly
What kind of plots do you like to run? Big battles, Sieges, Puzzles to solve, Mysterious and dark events and more.
What kind of Factions do you like to be involved with? Anything that isnt nature centered(Sorry Dr00ds).
What do you like to do with your time in the game? Fixing what is broken, spicing people's incursions, helping players with their individual plots and design new tools.
What do you do outside of CoA? Do you play any other games? Over the years I solely played NWN and its hard finding a game to replace it. When I am not DMing I am studying for an Engineering degree, while working part-time(80% is part time?) at a big and growing Hi-Tech company.
Did you play PnP before you came to online gaming? I did, but the majority of my DnD experience came from NWN.
Do you have a nickname? Strife, Discord, Strifu Hominid's wifu.
What is the best way to approach you? Forum Private Message is the best way.

This is a pretty hard one for me to answer, mostly I just enjoy watching players and what they do and build up their story from there. However, I am very big on personal journeys and challenges for the characters as persons rather than mechanics. Also, when I was a new DM I was very famous for having no balancing skills in mechanics what so ever, but I like to think that I have improved since then thanks to some very helpful DMs and players, plus a bit of experience. Mostly plots I run focus on the life of NPCs, PCs and the challenges which must be faced to achieve a certain major historical change on the server. Now it does not have to be war, but just simple story arches which leads onto bigger changes.
Some of my favourite "themes" however, are.. Mystery cause it forces players to think outside the box, everything fey and supernatural cause then you can throw in riddles or puzzles. Now the big one is conflict, but this is not mechanical conflict or PvP sure they can be fun and I use those when the story goes well with it. However, I adore when people are competing against each other through RP, using schemes, politics, friendships, love and manipulations to get what they want and such. It is amazing to watch things from behind the scene. Racially themed things is also a big thing for me, or underdogs. Whilst I am very soppy as a personal, I always loved the dark robin hoods who will stop next to nothing to achieve a "good" goal for the city. In the end, if a character story catches my attention I will happily go with it no matter what the theme is.
What kind of Factions do you like to be involved with?
Depends on the timezone of the players mostly, I like to get involved in everything but if I have a story line going which involve a certain group I will focus on those mostly. Still, all DMs have to have a good understanding on what is going on in the server so it is more down to the current character stories than the factions themselves I would say. I have a bit of a hard time with utterly evil factions, but that has never stopped players from making me love their concepts anyway. So in the end it is all of them really.
What do you like to do with your time in the game?
Get to know characters! What are their weaknesses, backstories and what is their biggest dream? These things thrill me to no end, so I love to possess NPCs like they are -real people- and allow characters to have a glimpse into their lives and how they can use that in their own story. When I was a player, my characters had various levels of friends IG and I often look for this as well, cause it is nothing more lovely than seeing personal sacrifices done by a character for another cause they care about them.
What do you do outside of CoA? Do you play any other games?
Most often I play big RPG games, such as Skyrim, Divinity, Dragon Age and the like. Whilst I play CoA a lot, I only spend some hours on other games if I find the story interesting. Anything which has no story to it and turns into just a grind fest bores me to death, I rather cook then. Professionally I am a fully educated Textile Designer, with focus on print design. However, I currently work as a full-time IT consultant for HCL and Sweden's capital Stocholm coordinating hardware orders. I also love to draw CoA characters, see here! viewtopic.php?t=165415
Did you play PnP before you came to online gaming?
Nope, I didn't even know there was such a thing until I started playing games online. I have done that since I was 10 or something, so yes I am in fact of the younger generation.
Do you have a nickname?
Queen of Kanelbulle, Goddess of Dust, Goddess of Books, Viking-Puff, Bork Bork, Puffalicious, Puff Puff, God Mother and Queen, Were-chipmunk, Chipmunk, Were-chipmunk Vampire, Kanelbulle, Empress of Kanelbulle and Dusty Books, Arabels Librarian, Book lover, Mum/Mom/Mother, Bringer of resets… Some others I have probably forgotten.
What is the best way to approach you?
PMs will get my attention fastest but replying to them depends, IRC and Curse are usually the best way to grab me. But if I am IG I don't mind getting tells and such, I am a utter chatter box once you get me started but also love listening to players. So don't be shy!

What timezone do you play in?
"Time is an illusion, lunchtime, doubly so." - But really, I'm in the UK, but I get sparse time to play nowadays :(
What kind of plots do you like to run?
"So, hero, what are you going to do now?" - I like moral dilemmas, and also total dungeon crawls with specially created monsters. I also like to have things span over multiple character lifetimes.
What kind of Factions do you like to be involved with?
Player created ones to be honest!
What do you like to do with your time in the game?
Have some… If I actually get time to be "in game" (and by that, I mean not testing and fixing scripts while logged in) I tend to warp around the server looking for characters that are out adventuring (preferably outside of quests, but quests work too) so I can run something that slots into whatever they are up to. Super bonus points if the group is trying to follow their own plotline and I can have it link to that.
What do you do outside of CoA? Do you play any other games?
I play Elite:Dangerous sometimes, though like I said, I don't have loads of time and that game takes quite a bit. The rest of my time is spent working on educational and none educational games, going to the pub, and…. going to the pub again.
Did you play PnP before you came to online gaming?
Nope. Played Hero quest, and Advanced hero quest with my brother when I was kid though. Loved making the dungeons for them. Still do :)
Do you have a nickname?
Zool
What is the best way to approach you?

(But really, any way you can find me. Leave a forum PM and I'll probly get round to checking it)

What timezone do you play in?
GMT (Grad-student Misery Time) - 5
My time is incredibly limited, but I am usually available on IRC to discuss concepts and provide ideas for plots. In game time is limited to occasional nights and weekends. Please feel free to ask to schedule something IG, I will do my best.
What kind of plots do you like to run?
I like to run and build plots that have large DMless components that can be worked on at any time. Exploration, problem solving, conflict, and team work are all elements I like to build into my plots. I tend to like to use monsters as villains, and I usually try to have ways for players to work either with or against the plot nemesis. I also expect players to actively contribute to my plots by coming up with their own ideas - Passive observers who just wait for the next DM event will probably not like my style.
Past plots that were either mine or partly my brainchild include the Dreameater plot, the Kanthea/War of the Planes plot, and the second half of the Wheat King plot.
What kind of Factions do you like to be involved with?
I'm not great about keeping current with factions - typically I try to invent things for factions to work on rather than manage them directly.
The types of players that attract me are those who try to make fun for others and who roll with the punches. I like the underdog. I like weird character builds. I like group concepts that exceed cliches, and are nuanced and creative. What's new and interesting about your Knightly Order? What sympathetic quality does your weird cult have? In short, I like when people take the time to really think about and flesh out a concept.
What do you like to do with your time in the game?
First and foremost I like to support player plots. Typically I look for player plots where a player has put in the leg work to get a plot started, and needs a hand accomplishing something.
I like to support DM plots - Either my own or others, by running events.
My biggest dislike is NPC possession - You're probably better off asking someone else if you want to talk to X Npc.
I also like running goofy OOC holiday events, which is sadly what I will probably be remembered for, if anything :D
What do you do outside of CoA? Do you play any other games?
I am King Nerd. I'm a PhD student in biochemistry, which eats up almost all my time. I also like anime and fantasy books. I don't play other games oddly enough. I'm also an avid rock climber and backpacker.
Did you play PnP before you came to online gaming?
Yes, it's what brought me here. NwN for me is a more immersive form of PnP, I've never really treated it like a videogame, which is probably apparent in my approach to the game. I don't like MMOs and try to keep CoA as far from appearing like one as possible.
Do you have a nickname?
No. None. >.>
What is the best way to approach you?
IRC. I absolutely love concepting characters and plot ideas, please feel free to hit me up for either.

What timezone do you play in? EST, but my sleep schedule is fairly random.
What kind of plots do you like to run? Generally, high conflict, high stake plots. I also run 'light hearted' quests because if I didn't, I'd go insane.
What kind of Factions do you like to be involved with? Generally, I like dark, gritty stuff, so the Militia, Hardcastle, and Thay have my voice.
What do you like to do with your time in the game? Blow shit up. Run player events, I also like possessing npcs for some reason. I also have a weird fascination with trials despite no law background. I also enjoy toolsetting one-shot dungeons.
What do you do outside of CoA? Do you play any other games? Minecraft.
Did you play PnP before you came to online gaming? Nope.
Do you have a nickname? Scumlord
What is the best way to approach you? Forum PM is the best way to alert me, not to get a conversation. If I am on IRC with |mIRC by my name, I can generally chat.

What timezone do you play in? US Central .. so that's like GMT -5 or -6 depending on the time of the year
What kind of plots do you like to run? I like stories that challenge a character's moral code. I don't like events where all you do is kill stuf. I'd rather make you figure out a puzzle or find an alternate route rather than taking the obvious path. I want characters to have to make choices - and then to either reap the rewards or endure the consequences of those choices. I want to explore your character's fears and secrets. There is no black and white, the world I play in is varying degrees of grey.
What kind of Factions do you like to be involved with? Any, as long as they're being interesting and getting people involved in what they're doing.
What do you like to do with your time in the game? I'm a voyeur. I like to just watch what people are up to, listen to their conversations, see where they're going and why and who all they're getting to go with them. If it's interesting to me, I'll throw some things for them - whether encounters or puzzles whatever.
What do you do outside of CoA? Do you play any other games? I work like 50+ hours a week and have a family! When I get spare time it's either spent on CoA or watching Netflix (I'm addicted to NCIS - currently on Season 3)
Did you play PnP before you came to online gaming? I wanted to play in high school (back in the dark ages - seriously, I dont think we had lights!) but I couldnt find any people to play with. My first experience with online gaming came via Telnet and EOTL (end of the line) text-based RPG when I was in college.

Lately, work a lot, and go out a lot. Which makes it feel like I am working to pay my bar tab. I hate the cold though, which is why I'm back for the winter. I play madden and magic online, though rarely do I dedicate a lot of time to either.Did you play PnP before you came to online gaming?
Once. I got bored and tried to kill my party with my level one rogue. Got sent into the next room to play a computer game, and was never invited back. In my defense, I was way more of a jackass at 21 when this happened then I am at 43, and I'm still pretty bad.Do you have a nickname?
Does "hey, asshole!" count? What is the best way to approach you?
Depends on what you need. If you want to discuss a concept or a plot idea, forum pms are best so I can take the time to read and digest before I respond. If you need a quick fix in game, IRC works best.
