What specific perk(s) (faction, special background, etc): Simply applying for a tiefling knave lil dumb bard.

A few sentences on how you plan to make the server more fun to play on for everyone, through your characters actions/story: So hear me out, silly blue tiefling bard who's a closet necromancer, played like a dirge, very annoying, aloof, and naive. With a less-than-obvious serious undertone. Will not fit in with the cities nobles in the slightest. Hoping to get into some evil faction/plot, otherwise she'll just be silly lil idiot bard who sometimes summons undead in the right company, and probably writes my chemical romance lyrics into her journal and hates her non-existent parents.

If you're not applying on your normal log-in or handle, what accounts have you played under?: I've played under Spooples. Played a dragon heritage elf nearly 5 years ago, more recently, and by that, I mean 2-3 years ago, I played a ranger/wizard who was involved with Tilverton peeps for awhile, but IRL took me away a lot back then, and eventually I got back into EFU till the most recent chapter change. Most recently, been playing a human sorc/ranger spell sword, though I don't feel as though she fits the server in the way I want her to, and was thinking of making a bard, thought I'd go with a tiefling!

Brief background as relevant to the application: Kronie, or 'Sour' for short, is an orphan (I know, original) street-urchin who grew up on the streets of Luskan. Left as a babe outside one of the cities orphanages. During most days of her youth, she would sing melancholy tunes by the docks for the sailors. Earning her the nickname, which she would adopt as a family name, of 'Sour'. Come night she would work at a decrepit morgue, run by an elderly tiefling man from Thay. The two bonded over the shared distrust the common folk had of them. Where she would find a keen interest in the dead, and later the undead. The morgues patron would be the one to aid her in developing her magical talents through safe practice. Though as most younglings eventually do as they grow into young adults, Sour yearned to see the world, and with the passing of her mentor, she had no reason left to stay in Luskan. Joining a circus heading for the Cormyrian region, and getting left behind in Arabel as they passed through.

Other- A few examples of how you plan to portray the subrace. (Features, traits, noticeable differences through role-play): Blue bruised skin, and a pair of curved horns protruding from her temples, make her an easy one to spot, and a hard one to trust by most. A bit aloof, though can be quite the talker, if not a babbler if she feels comfortable with folk. Young and naive, likely to say or do something outside social norms. Cold-blooded, cares little for most others, as long as she's getting ahead. Total disregard for life. Will make a great mercenary! She takes on a few of the best and worst characteristics of her outsider ancestor, a night hag, and those of a young lady who not long ago has come of age. I think it will be an interesting experience for everyone, and I'm aware she might get strung up not long after creation.

Sounds very fun, good portrayal of tiefling and I like that they fully expect to be an outsider and weirdo.

I don't mind the tongue and cheek app, or them being a bit of a comic relief character.

I think the section on 'how will you make the server more fun' is a bit weak as to me it just kind of reads as 'Ill be a necromancer and hopefully get an evil plot placed on me.' I'm all up for evil characters to people to chase but I would like to see that section fleshed out with a little bit more detail.

I still want to know what human sellsword they've been playing. leaving it out just seems sus .. or lazy.. idk which

Hey, whilst I enjoyed some context of the app the DM team as a whole had a chat and we together felt that it needed quite a bit of work since it doesn't quite match with the tone of the server and its current story-archs. However, we would be most happy to see you make a non-application PC to start off with to get a feel of how the server is currently and the storyline on going. And then we could perhaps revisit a possible subrace and work on an application later on when you have gotten a better feel of things.

Did you have any name/usernames from your previous PCs btw? We didn't manage to find any based of your forum username so far! Not super important, just curious :)
