Research: Netherese ruins.
-
Within this file I shall begin the documentation of the research into the Netherese ruins around the city. It shall be home to anything factual found as well as running theories on what may or may not be relevent.
I leave these open to any to view and absorb knowledge from within the Seekers of Fallenstars and intime I shall release a more completed and refined works to the Arabel Library.

Ruins within the Stonelands.
The ruins are buried within the desert north of Arabel, just north of the helmlands. If one seeks easier access to the desert then a caravan can be sought to Tilverton and there a shorter walk to the north-west is required.
I funded a small expedition to learn of the location of these ruins and a few answered the call to become a guide to I.
As one first spots these ruins they will notice an upward incline in the sand and dunes, atop this hill one will find a small ritual plinth. The plinth can be walked upon and when approached a portal will open, this portal requires an Anauria Gemstone to open and access. Upon the moment we were to delve further my party was assailed and ambushed by a group of Bedine bandits whom seem to plague the region under the banner of a Barbarian King named Thyme.
A bloody battle was to ensue and unfortunatly I was capture during this skirmish, however the Raven of Tilverton had ensured my release with coins.Within the area past the ruins within a valley of the dunes rests a floating gemstone orb, the size of a cart or wagon in rough estimation. Other smaller Gems of the same substance orbit this one which is one suggestion that whatever its purpose is, it is still being fullfilled. Another suggestion being that these gemstones utter quiet and subtle audio, akin to whispers in volume and tone which cannot currently be discerned.
The next expedition to these ruins shall need the capability to create fire, lightning and sound as these are the key to some puzzle within. The fire and lightning are simply enough solved with the use of cantrips. There is also rumour of some manner of Shadow-orcan spirit within which might be intertwined with an impaled body being held within the ruins, potentially some netherese ritual of old which the weave still holds strong.
Misa of the Gold leaf gave me some insights into these ruins, however she urged me to visit and garner an unbiased theory and opinion myself into these ruins and then we can compare our findings proper.

Ruins just north of Arabel deep within the ground.
These ruins rest underneith the City of Arabel, they intertwine with the sewers and local cavern systems. One may expect to encounter restless undead when they venture within these caverns so it is important to prepare for such when they are to enter.
The halls are littered with many ancient text and writing in a script I can only assume for the moment to be Netherese, however many of the scriptures are written within an older northern dialect of the common we speak today.
Places of note within:
A fountain which pays homage to those of the broken cradle, one assumes that this is to the stillborn and that Amauntor does embrace them within his warmth. This suggests that stillborn were a common occurance during the Netherese times, perhaps due to the sheer amount of magic they commanded or perhaps something else.
A Goldfeather Tomb. A golden tomb overlooked by two statues. This restsnear what appears to be some manner of embalming chamber and littered with inanimate skeletons.
Due to close proximety to the city, regular incursions into these ruins shall be made.

Seekers
A delve into the ruins has been organised and set. Any whom are able to join us, I would urge you get for yourselves a grappling hook and device to fire it. A stock of Polarization potions or something which give a similar effect. It is possible that we shall run into the undead while within this crypt and perhaps bandits upon the surface so it shall have some manner of danger to it.
