Infernal activities around Immersea
-
Another attack by the fishmen took place near Immersea. A group consisting of various adventurers, several Ravens, Precepts and myself, brought down a swarm of zombies on the boarder to Cormyr. We found another ritual, again crude in its design, performed by the fishmen. We managed to stop it, before it spread further.

Tales have reached our ears of this foreigner, Kara Chermosk, whos reputation proceeds her. Some call her the Man-Eater, but one does not earn the reputation of a strict privateer without some semblance of fear. It is the way of the Unawakened to succumb to it and ignore the glory of the Light.
I ask that we investigate this woman and her intentions, as I doubt their designs on our dear friend, Mayor Maela, are pure.
And let us not forget our interests in the South. Maela has our support, may the Dawn forever shine on Port Immersea.

@lord_acererak
I met with a most strange halfling today, a Master Jojen Taymont. Taymont is repaying a debt to the Aster, by helping keep up the wards surrounding Eveningstar, but he is also a member of the Council in Immersea.The Mayor can now pay us back all she owes. She has already done so for Lord Misrim. However, the caravan was attacked on route, and to prevent that, they have sought our assistance to help guard the gold.
I will be headed to Immersea as soon as I know when, and I shall invite all of you to accompany me, if you so desire.

Dawnsquire,
The halfling council is a made up organization for halflings to protect one another, pay it no mind. It’s a support group at its best, and a reason to make trouble at its worst. Master Taymont does owe us a debt, his ritual to grow in height nearly cost us more than I could bare. He has proven trustworthy to your predecessors.
It is strange that the good Mayor has attained this much coin over such a short period of time, is it not? What did your audit uncover?
