Two votes for Lathander?
-
Why does the Church of Lathander have separate councillors for its clergy and solders?
Soppi of the Redwood
-
Seconded. Perhaps it is time the squire steps in, so the Dawn Lord can focus her attention on that which is dear to her. She has felt reluctant to see the unity in the council at any rate.
And You all removed Dextar for the same reason. The coin only has two sides, it cannot mean both, depending on when you so desire.

You would deny the Church of Lathander or the official representative of any religion its rightful place on this body?
You would seek to drive a wedge between the Bishopric of Eveningstar and Arabel?
You would deny those of the Wilds their say on this council as a Great Druid?
Consider your responses more carefully than this blatant insult council members.
Dawnsquire Castemont.
-
Honestly Dawnsquire, I care little how many seats you wish to be granted. But the dawnbringers reluctance to seek unity, makes me ponder whether yet another, just as stubborn, is a good idea, if we are to ever find unity.

Perhaps if this council had respect for Eveningstar and her laws as well as its representing members there would be unity rather than demands and thinking they can interfere in business not required of them. The queen admonished members here once I am sure she does not wish to do so again.
-
And it is now Dawnlord thank you.
-
You both part of the same group, the Church of Lathander, giving your group twice as many votes as the others. You may have noticed that despite me and Greg both being Great Druids, only I stand on this Council as the Voice of the Oathtakers, as only one is proper, not two.
I understand that due to your inability to deal with politics and diplomacy you feel a need to try and fill the Council with your direct underlings, but if were going to start those very very silly games I would like to point that there could be up six Great Druids on this Council of Twelve.
Alternatively you figure out which of you two more willing to play the game of diplomacy that sitting on this Council requires, and help us find more people like Calatha that bring something both useful and different to this table.

It's because the Bishopric of Eveningstar and the Church of Lathander are two distinct entities.
If the Precept had a cleric of Tymora, they'd have two members as well if they were made representatives of the Temple.
Clerk Robinson
-
Consider this a new dawn and with it new opportunities. I come to the council with an open heart, that all may walk in the light and together prosper.
Councilor Castemont
Bishopric of Eveningstar -
Well I hope you share information and ideas, and bring your thoughts on how best to protect the region. Problems rarely care about humanoids lines on the map in my experience.
Soppi of the Redwood
-
I will accept this as a feeble apology Soppi of the Redwood and in the spirit of a new beginning ask that this matter be closed and the council turn its attention to other matters.
Councilor Castemont
Bishopric of Eveningstar -
The matter is settled. Castemont, welcome aboard. I have only good things to say about you.
