Vote: Eveningstar oversight group
-
Naresh has suggested a group of arcane talented adventurers be given the councils blessing to monitor Eveningstar to ensure the Aster are not causing planar instabilities with reckless conjurations.
I vote yes on this
-
You may ask permission of the church but remember Councellor the ground on which you tread. You have no authority in Eveningstar without High Dawnlord Belon's consent. I vote no because I feel this is ridiculous that you are so weak of mind to believe in rumors of those lesser giften than that of Belon himself. I doubt he would stay silent if he had fear for Lathander's flock. And a announcement was made from Eveningstar regarding recent events you may want to look into.
Dawnbringer Jadzia Sunguard.

If the vote passes on this It will occur permission or not. Lest the Church of Lathander wish to disobey the will of the Council of the Kingdom of Arabel.
And these "rumours" were confirmed by the local druids, the summoning did cause a planar instability for a time

Strictly speaking this is true, however, should an issue from Eveningstar spill out of the village and effect other locales and harm crown lands or property, it will certainly very much become a problem that everyone will be demanding to be resolved, even if it means trampling over the...what, 8 actual soldiers and motley militia you have?
Just to put this here.

A formal group is unneeded when it quite easy to vist the site in question if concerns come to pass. The Oath has worked with mages in the past and will in the future if we feel we need there skillsets to complete our duties.
Also to be blunt, if all druids were suddenly banned from any location we would asssume a threat to the Balance was present anyway...

The Council isn't proposing this to trample over Eveningstar or the House of the Morning, we're calling for this to better safeguard Arabel. Since these mages would need to stay in Eveningstar they would be beholden to the House of the Morning's punishments for wrongdoing and have the express purpose of looking into the matter at hand.
Since I'm sure the House of the Morning has no issue with peace of mind and has nothing to hide, I'm rather confused why you're so vehemently against the motion, Councilor Jadzia.
-Councilor Grurec, son of Torunden

The church definitely has no issue with peace. We have fought hard for the peace that prevails over Eveningstar. I would not have that peace broken because some Councilor's here feel the need to bully their weight around and make demands without reaching out with diplomacy first before contriving the notion to put groups together in a play to try and have their way.

This is the acts of a vigilante with no better agenda than to show the kingdom that he has a big stick to hit things with. Is this really how this council now conducts its business and calling vote merely for one's own ego?
-
It's an issue of public safety, take it with grace.
- Naresh Sabzvari, Precept Arcanum

Then I leave it to you to write to the High Dawnlord asking his grace for permission.

The King and Queen are deeply displeased with the Council of Twelve, having lost a lot of faith in its abilities. The vote has caused a deep wedge between Eveningstar and Arabel.
