Magic Vesments not working on shield

SO remember the imbuing bug on shields? well seems it's affecting this too. Same message even.

Would be good to explain what the bug does exactly, as, personally, nope! I don't remember the imbuing bug on shields!
Though, I do suspect I know what the issue is.
Cast it on a shield, and it sends you a message saying you cant imbue onto that item (then doesn't apply the spell?)

I should probly test as a PC then rather than a DM avatar. Should work the same but I'll have a go.

Did you check the item afterwards?
Because it does give the imbue message, but it still does the spell effect for me using a PC.
