Screen Shot:The magical item, Handbag. You find it as loot on one of the starting quests. The Enya Ighnii or Lana Wetton quest, I think?
Anyways, it has "Special description: Weight reduction 10%" but I noticed upon putting my tower shield into the bag, which weighs 45 lbs, the bag weighed 45.1 lbs. The bag itself is .1 lbs.

the bag weighs less (normally 1.0, now 0.1)
it isnt enchanted to make stuff weigh less -
That's what I was thinking in the back of my mind. That perhaps the bag itself is what gets the weight reduction but not the items put into the bag. (I say that's a cruel trick for a loot item, but I say that out of spite because I fell for it. :P)

There are two different properties iirc
- reduced container weight which is what magic bags have (-20% etc)that reduce the content weight by that percentage.
- weight reduction which is found on items (usually armours etc) that lower the item to whatever percentage of the base.

As intended, many crafters dream of this legendary item.
