Rangers get trackless step, should this mean that they cannot be tracked?

Should rangers that wear light armour get the ability to not be tracked by other rangers that can track to better reflect their feat "trackless step"?

fairly sure that this is vanilla NWN and in place already.
so long as they dont wear armour that disables their ranger abilities they ought to be untrackable
