Had a run at it v6505, got stuck at the same door, sorry guys.
Did you try negative damage?
No fire. Will have another crack at it with negative later if that'll help?
-
Please do otherwise it is a variable issue :)
-
Got to the same door and this time tried every type available on the orb, plus cast ray of fire and acid spalsh with Sorc. No effect on the lock.
-
Yep, variable issue. Thanks!

Possibly fixed v6514
@Puffy changed the variable on the orb to zqa_oldtomb_4 to match the tag on the door -
Fixed! Tried it today (Puffy 6517). The door works with one of the device options.
But...
The first door starting state was unlocked and doesn't need the orb, though it locks after you have passed through for the first time.
The Lich Door before the end area has the lever and the orb on the wrong sides of the door, so you need the device to escape rather than get in.
Once into the last room and the doors are opened to the tomb, nothing happens, there is nothing to interact with in the room except for statue and lever. Nothing spawns (if there's anything supposed to..?) and quest journal doesn't update for the quest hand-in.
Some non-hostile badgers spawned in some rooms on the way in, a few hostiles on the way out.

Should be an NPC you can talk to to update the quest, did you press tab?
-
I did but couldn't see anything, had a jog around the room a few times and ran out the area and returned and triggered the statue again and had another jog around.
-
Gave it another go with a different character just to be sure, there was definitely no NPC to speak to in the last room, sorry Puffy. Tab'd my way around the room.
(Hides behind the couch) Also none of the traps do anything when triggered and some of the Dire Badgers kill the other Dire Badgers and Normal Badgers. After AE and Taming, there appear to be two different types of Dire Badger.
-
Oh well, the NPC is probably not visible for some reason
Badgers are most likely mixed between hostile and non hostile, which needs to be corrected
Traps are most likely set up incorrectly
